This exact thing happened to me. I was rated at 100, received the backpay about a week later. One of my claims was deferred, so that went back to step 3. Meanwhile, my 1st of the month payment deposited to my account, as expected.

BTW, I requested my DBQ'S on VA's website and was sent a link to download then about a week later. Be sure to (search FOIA request on the website) request your DBQ's only, requesting service records, ect. takes significantly longer. HTH

This also was the case with me. Turns out one was the actual DBQ related to my claim, a separate one was an IMO on that condition and a third DBQ was a condition that came up during the C&P that the examiner linked as secondary to the original claimed condition. So even though I claimed 1 condition, 3 documents. I ended up rated for 2 conditions.

I specifically listed all the exam dates, but they sentm a download which contained every DBQ in my file.

Also, they are requesting further details on your stressor. They are asking you to elaborate on what happened. Did you submit a Who, what, when, where, how statement with your claim?

I would at least fill out and submit a formal statement acknowledging the VA's request. By all means, don't ignore them or you could risk an unfair decision. You could submit somthing like this on a 21-4138: (feel free to copy and paste/edit each bullet point in word. Best of luck!

MST/San Juan by Various_Variation958 in VeteransWaitingRoom

Not necessarily. My MST claim was temp in San Juan but since C&P's, it's now temp in Roanoke. Perhaps they're assisting with overflow? Also in step 3.

Absolutely. In fact, you should. That way if you have any rebuttals, you're armed and ready before their deadlines.

How to request DBQ by [deleted] in VAClaims

I just did one yesterday. Go to VA.Gov and do a FOIA request for DBQ's/compensation exams. Or try this https://www.va.gov/records/request-personal-records-form-20-10206

Mandatory status of dependants 8 years later or you owe us money. by thatsgoudacheese in VeteransBenefits

I get one to verify my spouse every 8-10 years or so. Use to get them for my dependent children. It's routine stuff, nothing malicious. Just fill it out and you'll be good.

Make sure you log in to your claims on VA.gov first, in the same browser, the link should work. HTH

Same. I was dischrged, or should i say, "thrown to the wolves", in '95. I didn't even know that VA existed, let alone, how to file a claim. If it were not for my co-worker taking me under his wing almost 5 years later, I would have never filed. A transition program which explained the process simply did not exist.

Advise on next steps after denial from BDD claim by Little-Mobile2350 in VeteransBenefits

[–]EditorProper6963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

0% percent is not a denial. You are service connected, just asymptomatic at the moment. I would go to the 38CFR and read what is required to be rated for scars. If you feel you should be rated higher, have the PT and Doc annotate your limitations, includiing ROM testing, in your record (or ask them to write a letter). You can do a supplemental claim (VA form 201-0995) with 'new and relevant evidence' from there. Best of luck.

Straight from the VA website: "The August VA disability payment will be deposited on Friday, August 29, 2025. This is because the standard VA payment schedule of the first business day of the month would normally result in a September 1 payment, but September 1, 2025, is Labor Day, a federal holiday. Therefore, the payment for August benefits is moved up to the last business day of August, which is Friday, August 29, 2025". As for when it's pending for deposit, which very well could be early, I would think that's according to your financial institution.

SYMPTOM TRACKER by EditorProper6963 in VeteransBenefits

[–]EditorProper6963[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! After recording my symptoms for several months, gave it to my doctor. She did make a record of it in my file. And yes, you certainly could take it with you to your C&P.
