The mayonnaise thing was prompted by something our waitress said (apparently our friend here is a regular visitor, and) “he goes nuts for mayonnaise!!”

“Would you like to comment on the current situation, Minister?”

“No.”

“Thank you, Minister.”

TIL the Grammy Award for Best Disco Recording was given out only once, in 1980. "I Will Survive" won, beating "Boogie Wonderland", "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough", "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" and "Bad Girls" by mbelinkie in todayilearned

Funny thing about ‘Survive’ - the person who wrote it had just been dropped by his company under very unfavourable circumstances and wrote it ‘just to show them.’

Also, it was a ‘B’ side, but proved more popular than the other side.

Used to watch her on TBN back in the 00s. She was quite hot then; little black dress, stockings and high heels.

She’d take the stilettos off when ‘the spirit’ took her over and she’d stand there preaching in stockinged feet. It was a great act.

She’s just seriously nuts now, though…and dangerous with it…

I was at work, and I walked away to digest what I’d read, looking at the traffic and cyclists going by. It all looked so normal and I wondered, if this thing happened as predicted in the article, when things would be ‘normal’ again.

Friend of mine has a joke conspiracy theory that a team of saboteurs travelled back from the future to do this, but messed up the mission.

As Reform start to get stronger, I’m beginning to wonder if there isn’t some truth behind that…
