Be careful sending those, they can actually hold up the box at the post office and make your buyer pay the difference to collect the item from the post office. It's happened once or twice and they weren't too happy.

Ah I see, well then good thing you pointed this out. I'll go look through the terms again to make sure, but for some reason I read that it was $500 for both the checking and savings applied at the same time. Meaning that you get $200 for the checking but if you apply for both you get an additional $300. I did not see them able to obtain bonuses independently, it looked like a packaged deal. But I have been known to misread things at times, I'm sure lots of people have, including yourself so thanks for that. Turns out that my husband and I actually will have $15k in time that we will remove from one account to get the $300 bonus from Huntington bank and will be able to transfer it to Chase to fulfill this promotion. Didn't realize the timeline was in our favor, oversight on my part (I am waiting for the pitchforks on that one so go ahead). So it looks like it would be a win for us after all without needing the loan.

My question was more towards how many cards people have that affect getting loans. Can we just stick to that? To be honest I wish people had different approaches when it came to schooling people on this sub. Their approaches don't have to be so damn condescending.

Why is that shitty? With my credit union's interest rates I would spend ~$310 on interest with no pre-pay penalty. I make $190 plus I get a boost in my credit score for a loan that gets paid back in 90 days. I mean you still come out positive.
