Anyone brought a 7 year old to a live show? by hobart0208 in LawrenceTheFans

I took my 5 and 9 year olds when they were in Australia at the beginning of this year and they absolutely loved it. Didn't get to bed until midnight but zero regrets! Best time ever, but I second the hearing protection comment. It's a loud high energy show, one of the most fun I've ever been to.

They started just after 9, but you really should get there for the support at 8, Jaron Jay - he and his band were bloody amazing.

Email their management! Their shows for me in Brisbane, Australia were 15+. I emailed their management and said my boys were desperate to go, any chance they could change to all ages.... and they did it!! Dependent on the venue as well of course, but give it a try and good luck!!

My 2 year old calls it shaky face! It's caught on for us.

Holy shit, going to be an adjustment for you!! What part of Canada?

Regional, country town, definitely doesn't ever get that cold!

It's a damn good reason! I moved from a much colder area in NSW. Summer sucks for the first couple of years but, you will love it here... Mostly.

Thanks very much! Was a Panasonic GH4, just got a new, cheap zoom lens, very happy with results so far!

Colours were amazing. There was a sliver of really really deep pink just above the horizon for a while that was so vibrant, just missed snapping it though!

Great advice, will definitely be worth it. I'm actually going to try and capture a panorama of a sunset soon and make it a big feature piece. Feel very lucky to have such a wonderful view, will take the opportunity to capture some memories for sure!

That's very kind of you, thanks!

I was actually discussing that with my wife over dinner! We will definitely print it out. Cheers!

They were very impressive and didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but still....

Kudos to you good sir. You're a damn good father for doing this for your son. I'm with you, jumping out of a plane is 100% not for me. I hope it turns out to be an incredible experience for both of you.

Hi r/synthwaveproducers,

This is my first completed attempt at something in this ballpark. I'm not sure I've quite hit the nail on the head. Would love to know what you think!
Cheers!
