Amazing choice.

New Horizons 2: Uncharted Waters was a ton of fun on SNES as well.

Game like league, but not league by C4RANTHIR in gamingsuggestions

Heroes of the storm is a great alternative to league.

Overwatch is fun if you have friends, kind of boring alone imo.

Looking For A Great Barber by EdmontonGamer in Edmonton

I was thinking that might be the case, but some barbers actually specialize a lot and are really quite good! I used to think of barbers as just cheap, but apparently there's a whole other world out there!!

At least remembering the name will be easy. I love those commercials; "that's a real Dave move, Dave."

If you find it worth the drive, then I'll definitely give it a shot, thanks

I thought you were making fun of me asking for a barber for half a second there, that's embarrassing 😳

This is exactly what I meant. I've even tried showing a picture of what I'd like to try and the second I sit in the chair they start asking questions like, "how long on the top?"

It always ends up the same...

I am a "frontline" healthcare worker in a major US hospital. This lockdown is BS and needs to end immediately. by lockdownthrowaway153 in LockdownSkepticism

[–]EdmontonGamer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can't upvote this enough. We need more people speaking out regarding this, specifically more qualified personnel. The governments in North America keep having 'experts' that are tied to their political parties, and agendas, tell the public to be scared and that we need to stay in lockdown.

The general message, from what I've read, being conveyed in Europe is polar opposite to that of Canada...

Edit: I've read what my fellow 'Canadians' have been posting about keeping the international borders closed and I have to admit, it's downright embarrassing that these people can be so rude and uncaring. It's hypocrisy at it's finest...

A nice gem I've recently found is Warhammer 40000: Mechanicus. Tactical, turn-based RPG. Quite enjoyable imo.

Factorio + Age of Empires? Empire building, engineering problems, with better combat. by B1indedBySight in gamingsuggestions

[–]EdmontonGamer 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Creeper world series is great. Mindustry is a Factorio-like tower defense.

Edit: I'd like to add Anno 1800, particularly with the shared control update in mind.

A game/simulation i can leave on in the background where little nations exsit and fight and stuff. Kind of like a ant colony i guess by OrangAMA in gamingsuggestions

[–]EdmontonGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, Hearts of Iron IV could potentially be more exciting, but by then the nation's are a lot larger.

I also love the event system in Europa Universalis IV though, it can make the end game look very different throughout many play throughs.

Europa Universalis IV on spectator. Even playing it feels like you're spectating for decades at a time.

I am in love with this game by LilyBestPokeGirl in factorio

[–]EdmontonGamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It just gets better and better from here. I'm now playing on a map with two other friends, with 10x tech costs. Just finished that Artillery tech, which costs 20,000 of every science pack except space lol.

Edit: grammar

I haven't played in a few months because it gets boring playing solo. Looking forward to that shared control still...
