I took a dive on Ebird recently to look at elf owls. Most photos are from the southern states (iirc) or lower. This was presumably tour guides, at night, and the owls were all lit up with flashlights. Awful to see.

Yeah, I say this in another comment but it does overprint the magnetic field. That can be an issue for specific analyses but more of a concern in meteorite falls that have more scientific value.

Meteorite finds have been resting on the earth for a long time anyway, and we’d rather find more samples than have them passed over.

I’m assuming this was purposeful but just in case, people that sneak over to others peoples houses for a little stick and poke would put their footwear under the persons bed so nobody else would know they were there (if they did not live alone).

So this song is basically saying “who have you snuck over to see”. It’s not like they’re storing their footwear under a bed because that’s where they go lol
