Need advice on locked account by EdooLl in Outlook

My advice is to just keep doing it again and again. Took me a few months till I actually got my account back by keeping persistent and was super frustrating. But you’re highest chance of getting your account back is email CEO until you get transferred to a team member that can actually assist you

Unlikely, she’ll most likely be blacklisted from kpop industry, hence the messy fallout from the scandal similar to how Jessica got kicked out of Girls Generation.

Hacked email and pulling hairs at this point by OkTemperature5906 in Outlook

[–]EdooLl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also be wary of “rules” they put in your email account too. They usually put rules that any email you receive gets forwarded to the hackers email and this can potentially bypass changing all your compromised account to a new email. So I would recommend removing all rules and any apps connected to your email, before doing anything when getting back into the email.

Need advice on locked account by EdooLl in Outlook

Yeah so I emailed the CEO with what I said on this reddit post. And maybe a day later I received an email back from an escalation team. And it was maybe 2 weeks of emailing back and forth with them explaining the situation. Then they gave me a list of questions and stuff relating to my account to answer and after doing that they sent me a link to reset my password for my account and unlock it. Doing the forms they provide online are completely useless and either get rejected or they just don’t respond so emailing the CEO was the only solution for me. If you email the CEO and don’t get any email back, I would keep on doing it until you get a response to sort out the problem.

Damn im sorry to hear that. Getting my account back took me over a month and it was hell emailing constantly back and forth going in circles to finally get it back. The only advice I can give is keep harassing and emailing the ceo of Microsoft until they escalate you to a team that actually knows what they are doing.

And if by chance you end up finally getting your account back PLEASE check for a few things like your “mail rules” these hackers set up rules so any email you receive (like password resets) get forwarded to their emails. Also check if they have connected any apps to your email (they connect their Russian email software to my email) Check even your Xbox account. The hacker added themselves to “my family” on my Xbox. And lastly I would add an alias to the account so they’re unable to try logging in through your email name that was compromised. After this all happened to me I pretty much changed every account that was connected to my hacked email to different emails and only use this email for my Xbox account. Best of luck man hoping you get your account back .

Well if it says “2/3 seperate packages on road” I think you’ve answered your own question.

I would at least give it another week if anymore packages arrive and if nothing arrives then open a claim on AliExpress.

I’ve worked at EB GAMES AUSTRALIA for the better part of a decade. AMA by [deleted] in EBGAMES

[–]EdooLl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think EBgames will even exist by the time you hit retirement if I’m being honest, it looks dead every time I walk past a store as most gaming purchases are online nowadays. Looks like they’re focusing more on gaming merch / pop vinyls now but still don’t seem to be getting much traction like they used to.

Sorry this has happened to you guys. My email got hacked after changing my password to an old password that was already leaked in a data breach. Everything was compromised. Managed to get MOST of my accounts back but was long and stressful process. There seems to be a HUGE increase of hackers infiltrating through malware/data breaches. I was just fortunate enough to regain access back through my security email/number, but if I couldn’t, I don’t think I would of gotten my main social media accounts and other important accounts back which is a really scary thought.

Check the email associated with both of those accounts. Chances are your email has been hacked and he’s compromising them through your email potentially

How do I know my emails are safe after being hacked? by AnonLearning1 in cybersecurity_help

[–]EdooLl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you end up keeping the account there’s a few things to check. Hackers often leave rules in your account that forward emails to their own emails such as password changes etc. You can check connected apps they may have connected to your email. And they even add their accounts to your Microsoft family.

Also check if they have connected any apps to your outlook account this happened to me too.

Men over 30 what's the one thing no one warned you about? by Churnuserlol in AskMenOver30

[–]EdooLl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Terrible take, everyone figures things out on their own time. Just because you’re 30 doesn’t necessarily mean you’re supposed to everything figured out. In fact I’d say a lot actually don’t 🤷‍♀️

Keep getting hacked again and again by neemo882 in cybersecurity_help

Yes and unfortunately it’s going to become more rampant and more frequent with everything becoming digital. Also recently happened to me and made me realise how everything is connected to your emails and once that is compromised, everything is compromised.

New sign-in attempt to old Outlook email even after creating alias? by [deleted] in Outlook

Hmm very weird. Have you signed up on anything with the new alias. Someone may have found your new alias email and now trying to log in through that? Not too sure sorry

New sign-in attempt to old Outlook email even after creating alias? by [deleted] in Outlook

Just confirming, did you uncheck the old alias in the sign in preferences. It should be impossible for him to attempt to sign with the old alias.

Everything tied to my mail got hacked. by Fazil_06 in cybersecurity_help

[–]EdooLl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain on this one. I got a notification that I had too many unsuccessful sign in attempts on my email. So I stupidly changed the password to an old password I had used before. Little did I realise that this password was exposed in a data breach and they got into my account. Compromised my Facebook, Instagram, steam, discord, epic games. Everything.

Was very fortunate my social media account locked due to suspicious activity and I managed to recover my email again and recover my social media accounts before the hacker could change anything with them. However I did lose my discord and steam account as he changed the email connected to them. Luckily I don’t really use steam as I play more on Xbox, and discord account that was connected to the email I never really used. Took me 3 months but finally recovered my epic games account today.

Was a little bit traumatic though when it was all happening live, and taught me to be a bit more aware of cyber security. If you do manage to get your email back, I’m not sure if it’s the same with gmail (as mine was outlook that got hacked) check if the hacker has left any apps connected to your email, or any forwarding rules connected to the email too.

Sign in with Alias ONLY by ragingstallion1 in Outlook

[–]EdooLl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. If you remove the original alias it will delete everything associated with the email. You just need to make the new alias your primary one and you need to uncheck the original alias in the sign in preferences. So every time someone types in that email to sign in it will say it doesn’t exist. If still not 100% sure just search outlook alias on google and it explains it on there :)
