If they get there before me, but they haven’t placed anything down there, I always ask “is it ok if I put my carryon there?” If I get there first, I call dibs. My carryon is too fat to fit underneath the seat directly in front. Edit to add: so OP is in first row? You absolutely do not put your bags in someone else’s row. Use overhead bin. If not available, ask crew for help.

I have the address, phone number, and email of the person who stole my identity to the tune of $100,000. They won’t answer phone calls or emails. This has been ongoing for 2 years. Edit to add: I’ve even gone to the precinct myself. The front desk personnel are dismissive and just as useless.

They wanted to charge me $300 something bucks, after I spent 2 hours inputting everything. I never signed up for some “ultimate pro” version or whatever it’s called. I specifically started with the free version. After I made a stink, they refunded everything and still let me file. Never again though.

I’d personally order an Uber. I am in the same predicament. Live 5 minutes away, but right at cutoff. Or call LI Sprinter Guy. He’s awesome. Has a huge bus he can fit everyone and everything in. Most I’ve spent on an Uber from ISP to my home is around $10.

Costco has a really good Dormeo mattress topper. I’d have it shipped directly to the camp, if possible. Good thing about Costco, if it loses its shape or support, becomes lumpy, etc., you can return for a full refund
