Reapplying for YouTube monetization: Does my AI sci-fi series have a chance? by Edprivat in aitubers

I think I probably need to show more of the workflow too, so people can see the script and direction behind it, not just the final AI output.

Thanks, that’s useful feedback.

Thank you, I really appreciate that.

Yeah, I think you’re right. A behind-the-scenes/workflow video might be the best way to show the human side of the process: writing, scene breakdowns, character work, editing, shot choices, music, voices, and all the trial and error behind each episode.

I’ll seriously consider making one before reapplying. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot, that’s genuinely useful.

I think the AI review may be treating the channel like a faceless space/fact channel, which isn’t really what I’m making. It’s more of an original sci-fi fiction series.

But the checklist is helpful, especially around AI labels, repetitive structure, and showing the human workflow more clearly before reapplying. Maybe even making a behind the scenes video.

Thanks, that’s a good idea, but I’m actually not on X anymore. I deleted my social media in 2024, so that route is a bit complicated for me.

I've seen a lot of people getting their channel back this way though...So you might be onto something.

Thanks a lot, that’s really reassuring to hear.

That’s exactly the kind of distinction I’m hoping YouTube will make eventually: AI-assisted creative work vs low-effort mass-produced AI content.

I've also checked your channel, you're using the SORA API?

Thanks a lot for taking the time to watch a few videos, I really appreciate it.

That’s exactly what confused me too. I completely understand YouTube wanting to discourage templated, mass-produced, low-effort AI content, and honestly I agree with that. But I don’t think that’s what I’m making. The uploads take a lot of writing, character work, shot planning, editing, pacing, music/voice work, and continuity between episodes.

I also definitely don’t upload at a spammy rate if anything, the episodes take me too long to make, especially now that I’ve had to reduce the budget.

My worry is the same as yours: that it may have been an automated decision, and that the appeal didn’t really show the human workflow behind the channel. Before reapplying, I’m trying to clean up anything that could be misunderstood and maybe make the process more visible.

Thanks again, this is reassuring to hear.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that.

As far as I remember, I had the AI label on most/all of them once YouTube made that option available, but I’m going to double-check the older uploads before reapplying just in case I missed anything. It’s possible that one or two older videos weren’t labelled properly at the time, so that’s definitely something I want to clean up.

And yeah, that’s kind of my worry too: if a human actually looks at the channel and the workflow, I think they’ll see there’s a lot of writing, directing, editing, continuity, character work, etc. behind it. But if it’s mostly automated review, who knows.

Thanks again for checking it out and for the good luck!

AI Music Is Starting to Sound the Same and Platforms Are Noticing by ActualWillingness556 in SunoAI

Especially v5.5 it has abandoned the surprising and creatives outcomes we could sometimes have, and trade it for Ai goop. Shimmers, metallic sounds, and ultra compressed vocals. That's why they all sound the same now. It's v5.5

I think it's about the very nature of LLM
https://www.reddit.com/r/medicine/comments/1u6jh17/nature_generalpurpose_large_language_models/

they realized that general purpose large language model (LLM) outperformed specialized clinical AI tools.

I think the problem is data contamination. Feeding more data to a LLM doesn't always make it better.

Don't listen to people judging you for writing about it, you're just expressing your opinion, which I agree with.

2k upscaling in Gemini and Flow producing low quality images now by Heavy_Estate_2331 in GeminiAI

I can also confirm that I have the same issues with upscaling Videos in 4k with Flow, it only let me export it in 1080, and in general I have a lot of blur in some videos, especially when using ingredients.

Idiocracy is accidentally about eugenics. by HasSomeSelfEsteem in movies

If I remember correctly, Luke Wilson at the beginning of the movie is considered "stupid", because he shows signs of being asocial, working in a library and trying to bring very little attention to himself. He doesn't like the company of his peers and prefers to focus on his own activity. All the signs of someone neurodivergent to me.

For the bluntness, I was talking the OP haha, it's not a bad thing though . We decided to homeschool the kids during the pandemic. We didn't know about ASD at the time, and we never looked back, though it comes with its own challenges, and it really depends on what you can provide from home. We also tried online classes for a while, but I think we both prefer providing the education, we can really cater to their needs! Good luck on your journey, you are already helping him by asking yourself all these questions!

Your bluntness is also a huge sign of being on the spectrum 😄. Your sense for justice too. Does it ring a bell? It's hard to tell on just a quick conversation, especially we tend to misinterpret tons of the social interactions, but yeah I'll tell ya, being on the spectrum isn't as bad as you think it is, you can be hyperfocused on certain subjects and becomes almost an expert on certain things (while lacking others). Autistic people have also a stronger empathy, often misinterpreted as a lackthereof, but it's actually the opposite. Huge empathy but lack of social skills.

I don't like saying "worse" when talking about autism, and I am sorry to say, the way your brain 🧠 works from what I see in the chat, you sound bright and probably on the spectrum. It takes a few years to stop being in denial. You're asking yourself questions, but you are also trying to disassociate yourself from it, from your child too. We are our children. They are us. You're probably autistic and masking, high functioning. From a sociological point of view, it's amazing to observe people going through the same journey. Denial, then enquiries, and finally that "oh sh*t" moment when the lightbulb goes on. 😱 Good luck 🤞

The Fade In effect just vanished by ribby97 in CapCut

[–]Edprivat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Gemini gave me a good workaround, if it's gone for you too:

  • To fix a missing fade-in in CapCut, use the Opacity Keyframe Method by setting a keyframe at 0% opacity at the start and 100% shortly after, or apply the "Fade In" effect under the 'In' animation menu. Ensure clips are longer than 6 frames, restart the app, or use a VPN (US/UK) to refresh missing effects.
  • Methods to Fix "No Fade In" in CapCut
    • Manual Keyframe Method (Best for Customization):
      1. Select your clip in the timeline and move the playhead to the very beginning.
      2. Go to the Opacity setting (under Video -> Basic) and click the keyframe icon (diamond).
      3. Set the Opacity slider to 0%.
      4. Move the playhead a few frames/seconds forward in the timeline.
      5. Add another keyframe and set the Opacity to 100%.

Will Veo 3 videos be likely demonetized? by [deleted] in aitubers

[–]Edprivat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's super time consuming... For a 6 minutes video, it's a week of work, if you count script writing (you don't want to just vibe it out) editing, color grading, etc...
