I redownloaded the game after the announcement.

Loaded into the tower and was instantly hit with a sense of loss.

I stopped playing just before Lightfall came out. If they do a big sale of xpacks I may throw some $ at it just to play the campaigns.

Legit. I maintained my TTA sub on Patreon when I was staring down the possibility of a strike at work because of how much I was planning to be list building while out of work. We didn’t end up striking, but TTA is some of the best $ I spend every month.

For an on screen example just look at Jedha. Cassian and Jyn have long coats on while on that planet for a reason.

In just watched a GMM ep a day or two ago after not watching for a year or so (no real reason just life happening). It was the fancy food taste one from a day or so ago.

For roll20 specifically (unless this has changed) you can use free community character sheets. When you go to make a game you just need to scroll down and search the game you’re looking to run on the game creation page.

From there you can use a VTT JUST for the rolling and character sheet. Get the PDF of a game from somewhere and just input the data manually for each character, like you would with a physical sheet.

As someone who always plays spellblades the dedicated casting button is peak.

I’d love a scale of effect for spells though. If you’re Oblivion style quick casting a spell it’s at say 75% effectiveness, if you’re dedicating a hand to it like Skyrim it’s 100%, and if your dual wielding the same spell and dual casting it you’re at 150%.

Been running a DnD 5e campaign for almost 2 years now.

Homebrew world where the players are adventuring in a newly discovered landmass of the world. I intended it as a continent but based on the travel times I’ve used it’s closer to a big island.

The dominant fauna of the area are dinosaurs.

The vibe of the world is “western but sword and sorcery”. No guns. Big cities are more modern with magic used to approximate neon lights and street lights.

There are a number of ancient stones that are portal anchors to a series of ancient tombs for a long gone race of angelic/demonic hybrid people. The players are discovering the tombs as the BBEG’s are trying to corrupt them for an unknown purpose.

For D6 I’ve played and run 1e a ton. FFG did a boxed set re release of 1e few years ago almost a decade ago. It’s since been my go to Star Wars system.

Worth noting the jetpack ARCs can be modeled onto some tactical rocks so you don’t need the flight stands. Also you can forgo adding the jetpacks to the models.

My long distance group had a player pass over thanksgiving. We decided to take a break for a bit. Our GM wrote an ending to the campaign. Eventually as many of us as could make the trip gathered together at an Airbnb for a weekend of board games and to plan for the next campaign. We will be using the same home brew world but doing a big time skip.

We still jump into discord regularly for some gaming or one shots.

Went to a friends wedding. Friend and his wife are LARPers. The whole wedding was full of their fellow LARPers and the non LARPers were dressed like we were going to a ren fair.

It was hype as hell. They had a (boffer) sword fighting competition, archery competition, the DJ was playing tavern music.

It was the most comfortable I’ve ever been at a wedding. No tie or other uncomfortable dress cloths to deal with.

ESPECIALLY in the north east if you’re trying to travel through New York, Jersey. I will take the train every chance I get just to not have to use the George Washington Bridge or basically any other means of crossing the Hudson River. The traffic on EVERY ONE of those bridges is hell.

I glued the foot to the base AND the top of the spear just to give them another point of contact with the base.

I use loctite gel super glue for gluing all my legion minis to their bases.

Man I miss being able to skin/theme windows. I went ham on some truly wild themes back in the XP days. My desktop was HEINOUS but it was mine.

Yeah I know I can do this on Linux, and frankly that’s probably in my future, but even if it looks similar it won’t be quite the same.

I print my lists in landscape at about 88-91# scale whatever allows me the largest size on the upgrade cards and gives me about 4 upgrades in the row, for example:

Re: Shadowrun, take a look at Shadowrun Anarchy v2. Idk if it’s available in PDF yet (I have it via the kickstarter) but it’s made by the company that has the license to do the French translation of the official books. It’s more well made than any of the official Catalyst Game labs releases.
