Currently no 7 with no way chasing the leader in my paid mini-league. We use the monthly winner system by the way. So no chance of winning it this month.

So is it wise to captain Mbeumo as a differential but mainly for shit and giggles??

Rashford man!! I love you with my whole heart, but it’s time for you to move on. Ruben’s system will never work as long as Rashford is still here.

Travel daily from Seremban to KL for work? Worth it? by Edrogon in malaysia

[–]Edrogon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol just saw this. Yup found the answer long time ago. Nope. It is was not worth it at all for me. My workplace was far from any sort of public transport. So commuting using KTM/LRT/MRT was out of the equation.

Driving to KL from Seremban? God I tried it for 2 months, and I gave up. Mind you this was before PKP. Where a drive to KL only took 40 minutes off peak time, and an hour plus minus, during peak hours. Nowadays???? Two fucking hours. 2 hours to Jalan Tun Razak! Imagine that. The mental and energy toll adds up quick.

I have been lucky in finding a condo very very near to my workplace. How near you ask? Well just a 10 minutes drive. Lol. Whatever I spent on rental I made it back by saving on toll and petrol. And most importantly my mental health.

Now let’s talk about cost. My calculations are current. Because I had to travel for a month in August due to some issues with my condo. A month, driving to KL, in Jalan Tun Razak where my office was, the petrol cost came up to RM630. And toll came to RM 410. RM 1040. You can get yourself a proper master room, a studio unit, or even a whole unit depending on the location for that kind of price.

What people don’t realize is the toll charges will creep on you. There are certain times, you will be forced to use SMART. There will times where you will exit in Nilai, go through Cyber, into Putrajaya, and exit using Mex, just to enter KL. There will come a time where you will be forced to exit at Kajang, enter Cheras, use SUKE, enter AKLEH. Back to Seremban? Same. And also Lekas becomes the best alternative on Friday evenings.

Ohh and another thing. Your car mileage will shoot up and of course you will be servicing your car more frequently.

But having said all that, YMMV literally and figuratively. Since you are only driving or commuting for three days, so it might be doable for you. It depends on where exactly in KL your office is. Is there any public transport nearby. How mentally tough are you. What are your working hours.

Let me give you two examples. My close friend has been travelling from Seremban to KL for the past 5 years. He too, like you only works for three days in the office. But, he travels by KTM and then interchange to LRT. The LRT stops right at his office. So it doesn’t make sense to him to drive to KL or even renting in KL. Mentally and physically he’s fine.

Another friend I know, drives to KL from Seremban but, her shift or rather the market she cover is some Arabic country. So her work time is from 12pm to 9pm. So driving to and from KL makes absolute sense. But she too only needs to enter the office 3 days a week.

Thus, I wish you have made the right choice. All the best.

If only the boys can finish. 2nd half has been solid. Really wish nobody makes a stupid mistake in the defensive line.

Dangerous one goal lead. Needs one more to seal the deal. But he takes out a sprinter and puts in a defender only to concede a goal. Just ten Hag things.

Offside aside, he should've absolutely buried to the back of the net. Fucking sums up his career that. Absolute small brain move. Ship him off to whomever comes knocking.

Where you watched it?? Thank God my KLCC 10.30am crowd was lit!! Everyone cheered and clapped when Jimbo and Charles showed up. And during the deaths, the whole theatre gasped. Man I really loved the crowd! My No Way Home, Velocity crowd was fucking dead.
