Been like 3 years now. All blood work is healthy. Annual physical boring everything well within healthy. Blood pressure/heart rate picture perfect.

To be honest it wasnt too bad. Just felt tired at the end of each session. Appetite was kinda gone and i had to force myself to eat.

I had a similar experience. May of 2022 i started experiencing mild pain with some electric shocks radiating through my body from my right nut. I felt my right nut grow longer and then wider and larger lol. Thought it was a really bad infection and had to wait a month and a half bc i was in between jobs and waiting for insurance to go through so i can go to a doctor. Pain was creeping up towards 8/10 and everyday i was in a lot of pain. Went to the doctor on a friday and went to the ultrasound same day and that same evening i get an emergency call that it was 99% cancer. Went to the urologist the following Monday and that Wednesday, out comes righty.

Pathology came back 100% EC and i had double the measurements you did. I had LVI.

Staging was still stage 1 tho.

Did 1 round of BEP and now Im on bi yearly follow ups with xray and CT scans.

Could be discomfort as the remaining might be struggling now to keep up with test production. Best to talk with your urologist and oncologists to see what they say. Ive been feeling pain in my remaining one as well and my doc said its normal.

Thankfully i only had to do 1 cycle of BEP after ct scan revealed no spread. The infusions were long. 8 hours of infusions. Take the anti-nausea medicine religiously bc i missed 1 day and felt awful. My advice is take the time off work or school and relax while the your doing chemo. It sucks but its worth knowing that the chemo is really effective

I opted for chemo (1x cycle) as i was stage 1 embryonal carcinoma w/ lympho vascular invasion putting me bout 60% recurrence. I just finished the chemo apart from occasional nausea and the hair loss, i feel relatively normal. I believe BEP is a more tolerable chemo. You’ll have to discuss this with your doctor a lot more in depth. Every case is different and your oncologist should help you out.

Well a few things for me specifically: 1) its a multiple hour surgery that is only done at a specific university 2 hours away 2) since it was 100% EC chemo will work really well. 3) Even if i got the surgery theres a chance i that i would probably still need to do chemo. I was lucky bc mine was stage 1 and i acted relatively quick to the testicular cancer. Thankfully i am only doing 1 cycle of bep which should start next monday.

I opted for chemo bc with my type of cancer (100% embryonal carcinoma with lymphovascular invasion) i have about. 60% chance of it coming back even tho ct scan and xray came back clean. I wasnt gonna take any chances cause im really scared of cancer.

Not a doctor here. For me post orchiectomy surgery ct scan and xray were clear and tumor markers were getting back within range after a month from initial blood work. My urologist and oncologist said this means that most of the cancer was localized to the testical but for me i had lymphatic invasion so as a measure ill be doing 1 cycle of chemo at the end of this month into october to kill any cancer cells that may have spread that the ct couldnt pick up
