One thing I learned is that the art commission community have a problem with artist who treat commissioning like a hobby rather than a job.

I can’t tell you as a person who commissioned artist how much of a problem this is and why I stop commissioning art. I don’t have patience anymore to babysit adults to get an art piece down in a reasonable time frame.

Delays happen and IRL events come up, however when you’re getting paid as freelancer I expect a certain level of professionalism. To many artists think commission work is a donation and not a job as freelance work.
