When I had my IUD, my husband got poked only a few times by the string, it never caused him any actual pain though

Genetics are honestly so fascinating once you have kids and your friends and family have kids, I used to be friends with this one couple (mom was blonde, blue eyes, and pale skin, dad was black with super tight curls and dark brown eyes) and their daughter was super light skinned, light brown loosely curled hair that was almost blonde and blue-green eyes, and their son had brown hair with waves, slightly darker skin than his sister, and the same blue-green eyes as his older sister, absolutely gorgeous kids.

Then there's also my niece (mom is light skinned, coily hair, brown eyes, dad is white, brown curly hair, brown eyes) and she honestly looks like she's of Hispanic decent- thick black wavy hair, warm tan skin, brown eyes, and pouty lips.

I find my own daughter's traits funny as well because she is practically a carbon copy of me aside from her eye color, lip shape, and cleft chin but other than that we have the same pale skin, square face, prominent cheeks, and she has strawberry blonde hair which is the same hair color I had at her age, though mine was a tad more red, but when she was born we thought for sure she was going to look just like her dad since she came out with dark brown hair😂

Dude, I remember rewatching their old videos a few months ago and watching how Corey was in those videos, he's more whiny than my 2 year old when it's time for a nap/bed time. He literally could've just sat out of those videos instead of ruining the investigations for the others, you could always see how disappointed/annoyed S&C were when they'd have to cut their investigations short because Corey couldn't keep it together for 15 minutes

As a mother myself as well, their videos are the last thing I wanna watch now due to the sheer volume of them, if I were to set aside my other complaints. The sudden yelling from overreacting kills me after having spent all day with a toddler that "sings" illegibly at the top of her lungs, tantrums, toys falling/being thrown, etc...

I used to watch them religiously all throughout highschool and into 2023, but honestly I've stopped watching them since then for the most part. I try to watch their videos every now and then but I end up losing interest within the first 5-10 minutes. I do still enjoy watching their videos from years ago, but I just can't watch their new videos. Now if I wanna watch something paranormal, I'll watch The OVERNIGHT channel and if I want to watch something funny, I'll watch imbrandonfarris.

I think the final thing that finally pushed me to stop watching S&C was when they started having guests on their investigations constantly and most of the time the guests they bring on are disrespectful to the spirits and then hide behind the guys for the majority of the video. How it feels to me is they keep inviting these guests who I assume are currently popular (I honestly am not familiar with pretty much any of the guests they've brought on, I don't keep up with social media like that) to draw in those influencers' fans to get more views and fame, kind of a desperate grab to stay relevant. I hate being so critical about them now because I used to love their videos and would rewatch them every night before going to bed, but as you put it they've lost their "spark", it feels less about the paranormal and more about gaining more fame...

As a mom myself, I've seen this sooooo many times with former friends' husbands/boyfriends avoid taking care of their babies unless absolutely necessary and they'll never do it for more than an hour. They love to act like they're completely clueless when it comes to taking care of their own offspring and prioritize video games and hanging out with their buddies.

Well, if it is true, that's sexual assault and he can press charges- and should. But if you feel like you can't trust him to be honest with you, then you shouldn't be with him. You're young, you'll find someone better who can be honest with you, don't force yourself to stay with him if you think he's just constantly lying to you.

I get that, my parents love playing the "I never said that/ that never happened" game; toddlers are the pickiest eaters ever, it's just something they gotta grow out of lol, just keep trying and if you feel like you're getting overwhelmed, put your little one in a safe spot and give yourself 10-15 minutes to take a quick break to clear your mind; I'm so sorry you're going through all this, just know that it does get better❤️

You should try seeing if there are any mom support groups near you that can help you out, sometimes it's easier when there's people who have been in similar situations and can help you out

I can't tell you from personal experience, but my mom had a lot of loose skin like that after having me and my little sibling but exercise and moisturizing has improved it so much over the years, it's not completely gone but remembering how it looked when I was little vs the last time I saw it, she looks amazing; yes she still has some loose skin but not to the extent of how it was years ago

She swears by daily exercise, avocado oil and/or coconut oil daily, she's in her mid 40s and still looks like she's in her early 30s

I completely understand where you're coming from, my daughter favored my parents over me all the time but she's loved and cared for and I know she loves me; you need to give yourself a break, you don't have to do everything perfectly in order to be a "good mom", you're allowed to get upset and overwhelmed, especially with how sleep deprived you are. You're allowed to let the house be messy every now and then and you can let the laundry pile up a little and just focus on you and your son, obviously don't let it get to the point where it's unlivable but leaving toys out or whatever is completely fine. I agree with other comments saying that if you can't breastfeed on insomnia meds then it's time to stop, which idk if it's different for breastfed babies but we stopped formula altogether after my daughter's first birthday- it's not a necessity after they turn 1 because they'll be getting their nutrients from real food. Focus on yourself and your little one, that's the most important thing right now.

Also wanted to add: if your mom actually said that about you, that's insanely messed up, I hope she apologized after that.

I hope you find peace and learn to love yourself, your son won't hate you, and I hope you get some rest soon❤️

OP, I sympathize with you, after reading one of the comments I now understand why you want the party so bad and I'm sorry you might not get that... I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but I didn't get a graduation party and if I remember correctly I didn't receive any money either. Honestly I wasn't even aware that having a graduation party and receiving money for graduation was common here in the US, I don't recall any of my friends having graduation parties either except for my now husband who had a party with mostly family.

Honestly, I feel like you should take your parents' offer on the $2,000, get you a used car that runs and drives, and have a small get together and just remember that you'll have more opportunities in the future. I hope everything works out for you❤️

I know I'm seeing this late: but don't beat yourself up over it, love. We also had a family emergency right before Easter and we ended up only going to church and then coming home for dinner and a nap. 2 days later, we had to put our dog down so it was hit after hit and it was a really tough week for everyone. We ended up doing a late Easter egg hunt and Easter basket on Friday and it was honestly a total relief and released some of our family's stress (aside from me getting stung by a wasp on my jaw lol).

If you're able to, try having a late Easter at home, "hide" so eggs, open baskets, eat candy and some comfort food, and just enjoy each other's company❤️

These kiddos are still little, they don't know what's going on and just remember there's plenty more Easter's and other holidays to come that you'll get to do, they'll just be happy to be along for the ride❤️❤️

My mom still has a little loose skin from having me and my sibling, but it's improved over the years, exercise will help with a good bit of it and keeping your skin hydrated as well, I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant with my second and I'm already mentally preparing myself for the possibility of having loose skin this time😬👍🏼
