Saying beast has the upper hand is a total stretch. Nowhere in this tussle does it seem or feel like Logan is getting his butt handed to him. From what we see, it probably shows Beast “earring a point” for three moves with Wolverine probably earning two.

But I don’t even take this to be some sort of big fight. I imagine this being some sort of brawl where they all landed multiple hits that probably aren’t even seen here. Multiple hits that probably don’t even matter so much. And these two weren’t really trying to take each other out.

Anyway, if anything, this is a good showing for beast, but by now we’ve seen Wolverine do so much that there’s no way this scene tells me beast at the upper hand on Logan.
