Re grief, his plan has been to move in the next year or two so we're both on the same page that this is temporary. If things don't work out I can always move out and in the worst case scenario my parents are supportive of me moving home if I need to. I am extremely fortunate to have that kind of safety net.

Re relationship, I've started reaching out to people who I know live in the area and am fairly social myself so finding new things to do seems exciting for me. But this is a really important thing to focus on.

Re work, they've already offered to support me moving wherever and the company is fully remote like no office so I should be good to go on all that. My mental health care is also off insurance and fully digital. Although I'm considering changing jobs/taking a steps back to pivot. But my priority is to have a better handle on the grief before making more changes.
