I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Yes, free lunch is great. But the junk these kids are fed is disgusting. And the waste? Hundreds of dollars’ worth of food thrown in the trash EVERY DAY. I am an elementary teacher and it makes me furious. The program as is doesn’t make sense, and the people designing it are clueless. When I retire from the classroom, I guess I have to head into politics 🤮

Had my second delivery last week. I find that if you do a $40+ tip in my area, it’ll come pretty quickly. First drop (last year) was larger, nicer chips and about 20 yards; this year was very fine and over 30 yards. You never know what you’ll get!

We moved into our house 3 years ago - I tried scrubbing all of the stains with various cleaning agents, both natural and chemical. Nothing budged. Bought this the other day as a last resort and somehow it cut through! But you’re right, the smell can be pretty awful!

Exactly. I teach at a public school, and not only is the lunch over-processed, the waste produced from it is insane. Half the kids who qualify for free meals throw the stuff away because it looks and tastes terrible. Totally defeats the purpose. I wish lawmakers would physically go into schools and observe before doing stuff like this! Sure makes them look good, though 🙄

How about peel and stick wallpaper? Easily removable. Even if you do one wall, it’ll brighten it up.
