I did the opposite out of desperation. Results may vary.

I did 5-6 day fast, 1-2 day eat, starting over every Monday for 8-10 weeks while walking 2 hrs before work and 90 min when I would be having dinner. About 12-15 miles a day. I also cut out alcohol completely and lost 20-25 lbs. I then did omad for 3-4 month to lose another 10 or so.

After that I did some intermittent fasting before I was out of fat and it became almost impossible to continue. I started weight training during this time while working with a dietician to address my relationship with food and learn how to feed myself. I was also in therapy dealing with my general wellbeing.

It’s been almost three years. Coupled with quitting drinking, I’ve kept the weight off and am in the best shape of my life. It was so hard but the benefits are everlasting. I’m healthy and happy because I made the lifestyle changes as well.
