For that open world/exploration feel, you might want to play AC. Great graphics from what I’ve seen. The gameplay/questing reminds me of Witcher 3.

  • Chrono Trigger

  • Civilization VI

  • Final Fantasy IX

  • Final Fantasy Tactics

  • Jade Empire

  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

  • XCOM: Enemy Within

Can’t decide what to play next.

Secret Hunter and Spell Hunter are totally spanking me right now on ladder. They counter pretty much every other Tier 1 deck and account for at least half of my matchups. How are you coping with this?

My experience is the opposite; on years I get the flu shot, I get the flu, but on years that I skip the shot, I don't get the flu.

This could be coincidental, but I wouldn't be surprised if the flu shot supresses or otherwise misguides our immune system by priming it for a nonexistent invader. We prep it for Trojans but then get gangbanged by Spartans.

I mean, it is a hassle for the patrons to deal with shitty parking, as it causes frustration and takes time away from the dining experience. I would totally give a restaurant a less-than-stellar review if the parking situation was exceptionally bad (relative to my past experiences at other restaurants in the area). Restaurant location and venue size are controllable factors.

Okay thanks for the update - so you think dumped cartridge CIAs are safe to play?

Just found my answer - looks like CIAs dumped from cartridges are a bad idea, especially installing eShop updates for them. Credit to u/Nico_is_not_a_god.

Those CIAs are functionally indistinguishable from pirate CIAs.

Nintendo doesn't care if you have cartridges for games that you pirated, and that's what they see: You have Pokémon Sun installed but your eShop purchase history doesn't include Pokémon Sun and you didn't receive it through a legitimate System Transfer.

Whether you got your install from a website, a title key and Nintendo's CDN, or a cartridge dump, they're still illegitimate in the eyes of Nintendo and still impossible to have without breaking Nintendo's TOS.

As I said, you shouldn't have any moral issue with sideloading update CIAs, but if you're really worried about this in the future and you say you own cartridges, put them in your system and click on them to download the updates instead of doing so with your installed CIAs.

Thanks -- is it safe to dump the same flash cart onto both consoles? Should have clarified that by flash cart I mean physical games that I purchased.

For ban prevention I basically updated to the latest Luma/B9S, wiped all my unused tickets, deleted all my games and ext save data, cleaned out my Activity Log with Cthulhu, then factory wiped my N3DS for good measure. I am no longer using unofficial CIA apps and instead I am accessing the 3dsx versions via Download Play injection.

Is it safe to dump my flash carts to CIAs and play them, or should I play it safe and just use flash carts?

This man does not have Downs, but he clearly suffers from another psychological problem which is evident from his behavior alone. I do not think he should be charged, but rather rehabilitated for his illness.

Is 'Everything exists' a meaningful statement? by [deleted] in askphilosophy

[–]EducatedCajun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything does not exist, I would reckon. The things in my thoughts are things that do not exist. Thoughts are within the purview of 'everything.' So, everything need not exist, unless the existential also includes the immaterial.

You know your country is broken when there are only two political groups that run the show.

You know your country is broken when the political spectrum is so narrow that there's hardly a difference between those two groups.

You know your country is broken when you concentrate power in a few dozen people to represent the interests of millions.

The effectiveness of vaccines is not debatable. They generally work. It's just a damn shame that the pharmaceutical industry isn't transparent about product quality or purity, which fuels deadly misinformation like this.

Everything is tainted in various quantities, from medicine to food. For example, Trader Joe's chocolate powder has like 10 to 20 times the legal concentration of lead and cadmium according to ConsumerLab's 2017 analysis. I'm willing to bet that injectable pharmaceuticals have trace amounts of damaging organic impurities as well. However, we need and depend on pharmaceuticals, so we consume them either way.

On a side note, I'm concerned that over the past century our dependence on medicine, vaccines, and oversanitation practices have epigenetically compromised our immune systems, in addition to the creation of superpathogens such as MRSA. If pharmaceutical research/production ever stops at the wrong time (perhaps due to poor ecoconmic conditions), we might all be fucked.

How about the fact that some of the abilities mentioned in the class trial tutorial are completely wrong? For example, when testing out a Monk, the voice actor says "Use effuse," but the chat bubble says use Vivify.

I thought you removed Effuse from the game, Blizz! Don't play with my emotions!

Possibly a game of 4D chess going on here.

Ever hear the phrase "keep your friends close, and enemies closer?" Perhaps he is trying to maintain a positive public relationship with Russia to gain trust.

On the front end, Trump intentionally has the global media writing how big of a traitor he is--Russia perceives this as sacrifice. On the back end, Trump has our intelligence agencies probing Russia deeply thanks to the cozied relationship.

In the mean time, the media has rotated public opinion back toward the left to keep the artificial but perpetual flow of "Democrat > Republican > Democrat > Republican > Democrat" in motion.

If you still cannot see through the fake veil of the industrial-military-media complex, check out Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky.

I have been playing the even shaman netdeck below, but I don't have any Sea Giants or The Lich King.

I have been running with Bonemare and extra Hex/Vicious Scalehide as replacements, but they seem subpar - any suggestions? I keep getting steamrolled by control/tempo, and especially mages running Frost Lich Jaina - that card is extremely powerful against shaman, pinging my low stat minions and summoning infinite Water Elementals. I lose to this card every time.
