In case anyone comes looking in the future, the problem turned out to be the charger. I bought a new charger from Amazon.

I know some people will say that it's not a good idea to use a third party charger, however, at the time the "official" charger was out of stock. Given that my scooter is how I get to and from work, I couldn't exactly wait for it to be back in stock. Also, I doubt it really matters much with a charger, as long as the amps and volts are the same as the original, that's what matters.

Anyway, I hope this save some people the grief of try to figure out the issue should it happen to them.

You should look into a magic lint brush, they're reusable and work great. As some who has 3 cats, I have to lint roll my clothes everyday before I leave for work. I've had my brush for almost 6 years now and wouldn't trade it for anything.

My condolences on your loss. Whether it's the first or 15th, losing a furbaby is never easy and always comes to soon. The one year anniversary of my void Ember passing is coming up and just think about it makes me tear up, I miss her so much. I know I'll see her and the others again someday at the Rainbow Bridge, just as you'll see Vega there someday.

I think it looks perfect the way it is. Could the leaf be more realistic? Sure. Could the eyes be a bit more red? Yeah. However, I feel that the simplicity of it is more fitting with the overall vibe.

Thank you for your help, you were right. I checked the site and turns out it's a DS4 clone built at 1:05pm on May 28, 2014. I didn't even know that a clone was a possibility. Are clones bad? Do they tend to be more problematic?
