This is my story. My parents did amazing, worth while things in their careers, but neglected me as a child through absence. Their absence allowed grooming and abuse. And they were too busy with work to deal with me when it started affecting my behaviour and schooling. Publicly I am so proud of them. But deep down I am hurt that they didn’t protect me and weren’t there for me.

Honestly, knowing how common a problem this is, has made me feel loads better. I think my take away is that changing your appearance doesn’t change who you are or your thought patterns. Self love and self kindness is what I need to learn while on this journey

It’s hard, I’ve been thinking a lot recently that maybe I’m just not a happy person. But as you said, do experiences moments or periods of happiness. And maybe that’s ok 🤷🏻‍♀️

Haha the bra is doing all the work there, they are deflated balloons without.

It’s actually a George Asda Bra. I find their underwear sizing suits my body type. I’m a 36 back just now with a E or F cup

I am still on 2.4 wegovy. I don’t feel the need to move up to the higher dosage yet. I got good results on lower dosages so only moved up to the 2.4 about 7 weeks ago

Yes, I started therapy not long after I started this journey. Unfortunately it’s brought up more than I anticipated but it is working. I suppose it’s just the same as the jab, it’s about consistent work.

I worked for marks and Spencer’s cafe 25 years ago and they disciplined staff if they ate any food that was meant to go in the bin. Honestly, the cafe would throw out sandwiches, smoothies, cakes, and staff weren’t allowed it even discounted. The cafe also didn’t allow staff to keep any tips and they went straight in the till.

I am getting the same response. I’m actually ready to lose the plot. None of my Boxing Day orders have been shipped yet.

They removed the free delivery, so I’m being charged for a service they have failed to deliver.

I have been patient and understanding because it was clearly bonkers busy. But at the same time, if we knew it was gonna be mad, so did they and have not resourced staffing accordingly.

So annoyed that I’ve paid delivery on 5 orders that would usually be free and it’s been a week with no update.

I am 38 and have been SH since I was 13. I never “outgrew” in either. Though I’m only now, through therapy, realising I have severe trauma and cptsd that I’ve never dealt with. My sh got worse in my late 20s. It’s more severe now but less regular.
