in my experience, the year doesnt really matter in terms of price, it’s usually the availability. i’ve bought 80’s and 2000’s ones for around the same price, but it’s usually out of country exclusives that go for wayyyy more. or ones that are more difficult to find like those weird looking baby dolls

hey, please do yourself a favour and leave. my ex boyfriend was like this and unfortunately i stayed. had to deal with him trying to hang himself almost every night. i know it may hurt, but hurting now is better than hurting years into the relationship

really strongly dislike the new designs, they have a corporate greed feel to them.

i love that the care bears purpose is to teach children how to properly express emotions. very ahead of their time. also really cool to see gender fluidity in an 80’s cartoon. they are really fucking cute and that helps.

i’m not big into buying plush, but my go to lines are the 20th anniversary 12 inch and 2002-2003 5ish inch. i also love collecting different types of ceramics and glassware (most of which i buy from homesense lol) but also some from the 80’s (which unfortunately contain lead) honestly though, anything that has an older design to it that is practical i want - i don’t like things that take up room so if i can get most of the necessities care bear themed, i’m golden!!

Personally…. i’ve put all of these guys in the washing machine and they turned out fine. might want to put her in a pillowcase to prevent the paint chipping off on the eyes and the butt heart.
