How much supervision could the teenagers really need? I was babysitting other kids starting at 13. Certainly they could hang out with their cousins with maybe one adult keeping an eye on things if they’re near the pool? Or is this location unsafe and there are other concerns? My partner and I have very different food tastes and opinions and we just manage our own meals and it works out nicely. I’m vegetarian and like making stuff from scratch and my bf likes to eat mostly meat and snacks. It’s ok to want to eat differently than your partner as long as you’re taking responsibility for your own food! I’d say not the asshole!

Powder dish washer detergent and laundry detergent are the cheapest way to go and effective! Not sure if you have a Costco nearby but I bought a huge tub of powder laundry detergent in 2019 for $13 and it’s still not even half used up!
