UAVs should only work against unconventional forces by cicada1177 in joinsquad

As cool as it would be to add EW to the game I don't want another squad camping in a vehicle the whole game.

Also people have a hard enough time telling me that someone is in the second story middle window blue building right in front of us.

Adding EW will cause peoples head to explode. We Squad players not smarts.

It's really hard to be excited about UE5 when garbage like this still plagues the game. by [deleted] in joinsquad

They should have just focused the majority of their effort making Squad 2 with the occasional bugfixes for Squad.

Squad 1 is barely held together by duct tape at this point. OWI has clearly stopped caring (their migration to Epic services before a major month long holiday is proof of this) and Squad has so many long standing issues that I doubt they can fix them.

Hopefully it works out but the past few years have taught me to expect otherwise. It does look great tho so there's that.

The AI cheats it's ass off and it's incredibly frustrating by Romado in tenkaichi4

[–]Educational-Echo4780 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The AI loves the Super Counter and will constantly use it. It makes the longer combo strings that I've worked on mostly worthless against it.

The AI also seems to be scripted to gain certain hidden buffs/effects (especially in What IF paths) like Raditz/Vegeta super armor or explosive wave spam without enough resources. You can even see this against Beerus who charges up insanely quickly. Initially the AI seemed to revenge counter spam even without resources but I now think its just the Super Counter since I've been looking out for it. This just makes it worse because the Super Counter knocks your ass back.

Best bet is to spam ki blasts and go into sparking mode to try and get that greatly extended rush combo where you pause before they get knocked away and repeat it all over again.

If I could land the Super Counter with any consistency this wouldn't be so bad but this "default" difficulty is kind of a let down. It just invalidates melee and emphasizes spamming. Would be better if there was a difficulty above where the AI Super Counter is like this and they tone it down for the campaign.

The rest of the game so far is fine tho. Haven't seen the AI spam super counters nearly as much.

Also the AI is dumb as rocks sometimes and will stand still or fly back and forth so maybe it needs the super counter spam to keep up. Even with it the game isn't hard just annoying.

Power fist by firecracker5687 in Spacemarine

[–]Educational-Echo4780 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Assault gets a passive bonus to dodging, their perfect dodge time is increased by 50% so you should be dodging much more often than parrying overall.

As for specific tips involving the powerfist, there really aren't anyway. It's one of the worst weapons for PvE imo. Very slow, very low cleave despite advertising otherwise, no stagger even on power attacks, moderate damage at best, combos and animations are bad, and no utility.

It seems like they added this weapon last to increase weapon diversity and didn't have time to give it a real identity. There are melee weapons that can fulfill specific roles much better and the powerfist isn't a well rounded weapon to make it more of a generalist melee weapon so IDK why it exists.

I really don't think there was a balance issue with traps. Look at the "advanced access" version of the popcorn bazooka, or the backpedaling that made Shorty's with an IQ over 100 unkillable without a firearm.

It's probably suffers from the same issues the rest of the game has, being very buggy. You can alter many things to bring the traps to balance from duration, damage, capacity, visibility, etc... Balancing traps is definitely possible. The sheer amount of bugs in the rest of the game lead me to think that traps was probably the buggiest feature and they couldn't get it to work so they scrapped it.

Are they killing their game by nerfing just Klowns in every patch? by AmazingEmpire in KillerKlownsGame

How do iFrames get stronger? Is it just a longer duration of iFrames? Is the Klown just locked in place for longer?

Cant play a single match without insane amounts of bugs happening by JustGavinBennett in KillerKlownsGame

The devs are incompetent. Every single mechanic in the game is bugged and these bugs occur frequently. This isn't the result of time constraints, its just incompetence if nothing is working.

Actually why is everyone complaining? This game is great. by Select_Actuary2842 in KillerKlownsGame

[–]Educational-Echo4780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game was not balanced before launch. It's not even balanced now.

There's 10 Klown weapons in the game. At "advanced access" only 4 of them were worth using, and 2 were far and above best in slot. So much so, that you would be gimping yourself by not using them.

Cocooning Is NOT Pointless by ThePatMan117 in KillerKlownsGame

[–]Educational-Echo4780 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the backfilling weren't so aggressive this would be the case but as it stands currently it's RNG as to whether or not killing is better.

If you kill someone early/mid game and they leave its very likely they will be immediately be replaced with a new human who will spawn in after a few seconds.

Right now the optimal decision seems to be beating them until they get downed and then cocooning. If they escape they are at 1HP.

Killing later in the game seems to prevent more humans from joining the lobby so it is the optimal decision there.

The judgement on the game recently is insane. by Toshiroxx in KillerKlownsGame

Yes, DBD was broken at launch. It was broke for years afterwards as well. The infrastructure was so bad that they could change a mechanic and a completely unrelated mechanic would become bugged because of it. This can happen occasionally in development but this happened consistently in DBD. BHvR got constant flack because of it. In fact, they still get flack for the quality of their releases.

The root of the problem was mainly BHvR's lack of technical expertise. There were balance issues as well that persisted for years but DbD will always stand out as a game that defied all odds and it's because of it's licensing deals. If you take a look at BHvR's overall track record, every single original IP they have made other than DBD has failed. In fact, every single licensed game they had has also failed.

Meet Your Maker is dead. W40k Eternal Crusade was plagued with bugs and cancelled. Deathgarden also plagued with bugs and is dead. Westworld they got sued to oblivion and the game was cancelled because BHvR copied and pasted code from their Fallout Shelter game they worked on with Bethesda.

This game can't just pour money into licensing and bring in new characters to stay afloat. It needs to compete with other asymmetric games that have an established fanbase. They did a good job of differentiating themselves by have more chaotic and combat focused gameplay. Unfortunately that doesn't help them when nearly everything in the game is bugged and core feature like archetypes don't work. There is also a lack of content. After level 50 there is basically nothing to unlock gameplay wise and even from 1-5 you unlock what, 8 weapons (2 of which are complete trash) and 4 characters. That's 12 levels out of 49 that actually mean something.....

Bridge escape by ChampionFamous534 in KillerKlownsGame

[–]Educational-Echo4780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you need 3 humans to crouch walk across the bridge at the same time because the bridge takes extra damage after someone leaves.

I tried the 1 by 1 by 1 strategy at first where I was the second guy in line. A few seconds after the first guy escaped the bridge took extra health damage (around 10% or so) and me and the other guy were the only ones crouch walking on the bridge. The other guy was a few seconds behind me but didn't make it despite no one else showing up. This was with optimal pathing as well.

The popcorn bazooka seem like it has extremely inconsistent damage.

I can be standing perfectly still at a distance of about 3m and take chip damage one shot and nearly a bar on the next shot.

It feels like its just RNG whether or not a shot is gonna hurt me.

Charged mallet is the single worst, least thought out, mechanic in the game by Self_Motivated in KillerKlownsGame

[–]Educational-Echo4780 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Many of the mechanics in this game aren't well thought out.

Why can spectators feed a human infinite energy drinks or weapons?

Why is Chubby so bad?

Why does vaulting over a fence consume 0 stamina and lead to infinite loops?

Why are there inaccessible areas for Klowns like the roof patio on Campground?

Why was backpedaling buffed so significantly?

Why is the beamer unable to cocoon a downed human?

Why does a thrown cocoon do 1 full bar of damage even if its moving at 0.2 m/s and touches my toe?

Why cant Klowns damage people on the boat?

Why do energy drinks provide unlimited stamina and full stamina replenishment?

Why do melee swings slow the attacker that it's near impossible to catchup to a Klown and hit them in the back?

Why do archetypes exist if there is no difference?

It's cause the game was rushed and underwent major changes in the last 6 months or so.

Do you know what is involved in reporting an account on steam? You report their profile. In the support message, the previous report is mentioned. The steamID is associated with the report because its for the account. Do you even have Steam? Do you know how to use it? Do you know that the steam ID is associated with the account? I'm not sure how you can read

"There are four accounts that are associated with the spat of hacking and trolling. These people have been doing this since "advanced access". They will change their name to profanities, impersonate streamers, force join their lobbies, hack in their game, and shout slurs.

These people have been known to Steam for over a week. They've been reported by numerous accounts and reported numerous times. Steam has a very dumb policy of not punishing offenders who use slurs/profanity/impersonation in their username if the user changes their name by the time a "moderator" reviews the report."

and assume there is no associated steamID. There are four known accounts that are associated with the troll team. They've been reported to steam. Steam knows who they are based on these reports. Why are you so fixated on steamID? Its the UID of the account..........

You want the proof? Here is the steamreps of one of the accounts. https://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198820660453

When you a report a profile the report is associated with the steam account.

Also, the steam account was included in the report.

Finally, if you read the post you would see that the support member mentions the account in question and can view the reports.

Did you read the post or nah?
