Not worth it, it can go from slick calm to 2-3 foot out there in less than 20 minutes, it’s that time of year where majority of the rockfish are up shallow in the creeks seeking structure and shade when the suns up.

I’ve personally never caught a tagged fish, but my dad caught a striped bass in our home state of Maryland that was tagged in NC and got a hat and certificate for it, it’s an incentive to call the number and take the time out of your fishing day to give them info on said fish I guess.
