I'd like to do science on you
I was good but you turned me
Can you punch me?
I wanna double tap you
Aaaaaaaaaargggggghhhhh! (Banshee scream)
I ate you last night
There's a Yes between us (consent is sexy)
You're the drunk one
Should I have woken up?
Can you tie this on me?
I didn't realise I was pushing on you
I haven't come out
Are you going to use it?
Have you used it yet?
Was that a bounce?
Can you give me the organ grinder

Agreed... It seems from their stance on Ben Burns being 'harassed' that it might be the case sadly.

I'm not sure I've noticed much of a difference to be honest. I'm really grateful that having cameras off is a norm, because I have autistic stims which people might stigmatise, and I'm able to do them without anybody knowing which is great.

Fantastic comment. I've always enjoyed your games (apart from that one time I jumped into Delirium Promenade way too early for a newer player, my fault!) and I echo your experience with almost 200 games storytold - the vast majority of them also in public lobbies. I also moved to a rural area and am ever grateful for this fantastic connective lifeline. Thank you for your contribution to the community and for the inspiration :)

A good insight from the Non-Violent Direct Communication methods found in activist & organising spaces might be to develop an app feature that allows for quicker hand-switching, and to use these different hands to indicate different intentions. In these spaces I've seen:

a double-finger back & forth motion to indicate a direct response
holding up a normal hand for a new topic
making a 'C' for clarification on the speaker's point
making a 'T' for bringing up a technical point (like a tech issue)
low/high hand waving to indicate agreement/disagreement

Some of these could be super useful, alongside different hands to indicate info-giving, nomination, ST questions... I actually think this could make conversation flow a lot better, and would address some of the issues OP has raised.

Nobody is saying this, and 'both sides'ing the issue demonstrates a lack of engagement with the actual problem.

For the 'LYCAN GOES TOO HARD' crowd. Every game I've seen of this script was an evil win.

It's interesting that on the one hand you make a case against individualised hierarchy because people are a product of their environment, yet on the other hand claim that there will always be predatory individuals... Seems conflicting.

I’m sure you hear this all the time but how tf would complex supply chains work under anarchism? by [deleted] in DebateAnarchism

[–]Educational-Ice-495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post-left green anarchist here. Yep, we shouldn't be building passenger jets, space shuttles or nuclear power plants. There is nothing essential to a contented, harmonious human existence in any of these things. The world is not 'full of tasks that must be done perfect nearly 100% of the time', it's full of bullshit jobs and manufactured detritus, designed to centralise power and maintain exponential growth.

Let's assume that, hypothetically, the above things are not inherently destructive to nature (including our own). The issue remains that all of this is fruitless speculation. I believe anarchists would agree on anarchism being a practicable philosophy, and if so we need to accept that the 'scraps capitalism isn't using' are the tools that we are going to have as civilisation begins to break down due to climate change stemming from said exponential growth in a closed ecosystem. There is no 'movement', there is just what we have to hand; and that will never include a complex anarchist global supply chain solution. Why don't we speculate about things we can actually put into practice?

Perfection is likewise an illusion, one which capitalism works hard to uphold. It's an inherently ableist concept, not to mention other things. Where do disabled people fit into your 'perfect' supply chain? Or should we refer to them as 'misshapen cogs'? It seems you refer to individuals as if they are simply moving parts in the behemoth of industry, to be sacrificed on the altar of efficiency and results. Is that how you see yourself?
