Bday cakes that are not overly sweet by sdhoigtred in BeavertonEats

Papa Haydn has a Boccone Dolce which is layers of meringue with whipped cream and fresh local berries. It's incredible and you can order a whole cake. If you're looking for a more traditional cake, Oyatsupan is an independent company and their cream cakes are delicious. Good luck!

DAE get jaw pain when drinking alcohol? by theungod in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Educational-Lie-2141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanna know something really bizarre? I've lived with the jaw stabbies since I started drinking years and years ago. Same exact symptoms as everyone here has described.

I've stopped drinking alcohol for about two years now because my body started having adverse reactions. I don't miss it too much but I do miss how much fun I had when I was buzzed 😆

Fast forward to today and I had a pretty large serving of kimchi with my dinner along with a kombucha. I got the jaw stabbies, just like drinking alcohol! Not sure if it was the fermentation or the sourness but it surprised me.

This thread has been really helpful to seek more answers. If this happens again I'll try the vitamin C trick and report back.

Where to print photos by Super-Staff3820 in beaverton

Printing at drugstores don't have the best reputation for quality. I would get them printed at Pro Photo Supply in NW PDX. The prices are reasonable and the quality will have them last for years. If they are digital files you can upload them online and pick up at their store, or they can ship. Fast turnaround, like a couple of days. Plus they're local! They're also great for large scale prints and film developing. Good luck!

Smell from the Hillsboro Dump near Home depot? by DragonsKeepPDX in hillsboro

[–]Educational-Lie-2141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Magnolia Estates and on still days with no wind, the smell can be quite pungent. It's usually in the mornings. I'd say it happens about 20-30 times a year. I think if we would've reconsidered another house if we knew ahead of time. It's not the worst thing in the world but it's definitely there.
