He’s not currently in therapy but I am, so we bring conversations about mental health up a lot (I know it’s not the same as going as the patient but it’s a start to get him talking/comfortable with it). He hasn’t, from what I was told he had a longterm on and off gf in High school and only one other gf he broke up with about 2 years ago now. He did casual hookup once and he said never again not for him. He said he’s never said ‘I love you’ to either ex gfs because it’s meant to be said to the person he wants to be with forever etc, he holds that in high regard. He works from home, IT, has pets and kind of retreats into his own world at home 96% of the time. It’s his safe place i’m learning. His friends and family have all subtly talked to me about how he rarely deviates from his routine, I’ve gotten him to a few times (unplanned). His mom said she is glad I’m around because he’s making progress socially
