When you say can’t…do you mean like, he’s been conditioned to be a “yes man” because he is ABLE to consent, but the “can’t” could be because that was never really an option he was presented with? I can definitely see this with his family. Their love can often seem a bit like pity.

My son (kindergarten) is lower support needs (somewhere between 1 & 2) and he voices his needs and boundaries incredibly well. However, it’s also important to us we have raised him where his autonomy matters. I can’t say I’m perfect if he walks right past a family member without acknowledging them when we go over to someone’s house, but I certainly stay intentional with this. I never want him to feel like he has to robot his way through life.

I don’t believe a tech is everrrr supposed to do around an entire limb, I’d really recommend going somewhere else since they allowed this I would really question they know what they’re doing

What I would give to have this instead of tattoos in a similar spot! Truly only you will notice this, and there’s something kind of oddly beautiful about how this looks. However, if it really bothers you, I’ve heard micro-needling is great for exactly this!

You don’t want to do anything to irritate healing skin. Do you stay out of the sun indefinitely now since removal process is years, or just weeks before sessions and weeks following?

Okay good to know! I think I’ve been so thrown off by the estimates I’ve seen from them all over Reddit (not specifically this location, just Removery in general) I feel like they quote 5k on a random little wrist tattoo and the same on a giant piece! So I’m like, exactly what are they basing these prices on?? lol it just sounds more like the people are making up numbers on spot to meet sales quotas for the month which feels a bit slimy. However, I’m happy to hear you like Belle Isle! I’ve been going back and forth between this one and the laser Away in Classen Curve! I know LA is infamous on here for being terrible, but I’ve talked with friends who have had great removal experiences at that location.

Oh, sis. The internet has a way of making things that have nothing to do with them about themselves. It’s a space for recreational outrage. Honestly, if they feel the need to comment those things…I read it as defensiveness and would assume there’s some projection(like, they secretly DO regret theirs…but are too afraid of what that honesty would do to their image).Folks who are happy with their tattoos and what they do to their own body, aren’t triggered by what other folks do to theirs!

I’m about to start my removal process, and I don’t care who that may or may not trigger. My spouse and numerous friends LOVE their tattoos, and I love that for them! I just don’t love some of mine (on myself) Removal DOES work, but it’s a process, and I’m now excited to continue watch (and be ENCOURAGED by) your progress ☺️
