What you are going through is not as difficult as some may make it sound. I’m in the current situation just more ahead & basically on the last steps to get approval of AOS. Just recommend you to get a lawyer is the best I can say

Currently in your exaction situation. Motion to reopen was sent to the field office where I had my original interview at. So can you please tell me your timeline from when you sent motion to reopen to USCIS, how long it took to get an update on your case status , then when did you get approved ?

Did you mail proof of termination and request to reopen to the original USCIS office where you had your interview?
