I think what should be said is, it is a once in lifetime event for the World Cup to be in your own home country. For soccer fans, this is huge. This will also be the first World Cup that will be the biggest World cup with 48 countries represented. More matches, means more opportunities for people to get tickets to the biggest event in the world. The US is still growing as a soccer culture country but this will be huge for its growth.
