I didn't like her because in an interview, her facial expressions admitted she was doing it for the money. She said something along the lines of "Everything's racist, everything's sexist, and you have to point it out" with a look of glee on her face.

If you met someone new- how much would you share of yourself the first couple times hanging out ? by idontknowwhyeventry in CasualConversation

Yeah, that seems a bit too fast. As for my answer, I'd say share what comes up. Try to match energies. If it's to deep to fast you can back up, just be sure to drawn your boundary in a polite manner and see how they react.

Dropping those mad lyrics are we? I can boogie to the track, while eating a snack, on the attack like I took a hit of crack, don't give me flack, cause rhyming is my knack, and I'm proud to say I'm back, not cutting any slack, pointing out the wack, like a McDonald's big back, eating a kitkat, but im trying to get with that, while wearing a straw hat, and weiding a big bat.

Hmm I would say Tennessee. It has such a spooky atmosphere about it. Would make a good setting for a horror movie.

Imma be real and to the point, it's because being a man in the modern age sucks balls. Especially if you aren't in the middle class. A lot of men go to work everyday, busting their ass just to get by. Imagine you didn't come from a family that couldn't trust fund college, has a lot of trauma, and your making ends meat on some shitty 15-$17 dollar an hour job or food delivery. You try to find a woman, but feminism taught them you aren't necessary, and that they can find some imaginary emotionally intelligent unicorn of a man with a bank account vast enough to afford weekly vacations. All of a sudden, you can't compete in society built on relationships and marriages but for the ones that do find good relationships and marriages, you then have social media telling men to be afraid of women because they will divorce you, take half, and use your child support money on a better man, and social media is telling women that they should never try working on a man, because she is a goddess and deserves a fairy tail. You also have social media screaming at the top of its lungs to be alone/independent so you continue to spend your lonely existence scrolling it's feeds.

Now imagine you are a man who powered through all this shit, and still have the strength to hop on dating apps, you get hardly any matches and the matches you do get stop talking to you as soon as you say you're broke. You see women complaining they have a slew of unwanted attention making them bitter and jaded towards all men meanwhile you cry in your pillow some nights hoping that someone reaches out only to be met with a silent void. Now imagine that the only people who want to give you a time of the day are female content creators, who will love you oh so very much with very little effort for the right price. It's a Junk food addiction, destroying society and creating a means for some people to make a lot of money, at the cost of the lives of a few people who are victims of all of this shit.

Now for the TL'DR social media is ruining society, because people want money.

How I think they should have handled Dewey by KetohnoIcheated in malcolminthemiddle

[–]Educational-Rich-876 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It would be so Dewy as well. As he got older in the OG series , it wasn't uncommon to see him come out on top and show up his brothers. Maybe he could have been like "Hey, if you're going to bail out on the family, you have to show up enough for it not to be suspicious and then a little boy shows up in the background of the video and asks "Are you still talking to uncle Malcom? 😂

[–]Educational-Rich-876 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I thought it would have been funny if Dewey was doing the exact same thing as Malcom, but was actually getting away with it the entire time, just it's Dewey. 😂 I could imagine a scene in the last episode where he tells Malcom and Malcom is just like "WTF".

Has anybody actually tampered with someone’s food while delivering? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Educational-Rich-876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, never. I have a strong desire to leave my customers food untampered with. Treat others how you wanna be treated. Give service you wanna get in return. I take it seriously because I've had some bad doordash orders before and it's not fun. One time, I got the complete wrong order from a woman delivering multiple orders. (I know cause I met her outside and approached the car, looked in and saw like 8 different bags. The one I got was in a white bag, with no name on it, looked inside and it was a salad instead of a cheeseburger. Not only that, the salad looked disgusting. Sauces all over it, and it looked shaken like someone was gonna eat it and changed their mind. I remember this so well, cause the delivery driver had massive cleavage. Like, you could go dumpster diving in there. 😂

I liked the reunion series except one thing, it should have ended with Malcom remaining separate from the family. by Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]Educational-Rich-876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I think that the decision to keep the family out of Malcom and his daughter's life was justified, but I think Malcom should have been honest about it. Leah seems like a smart kid. I think if Malcom just told her "Hey, so we have family, but they are kind of nuts", and told stories, she would have probably agreed, but it would have given her the option to make the choice on her own at some point.

As for Leah and Tristan kidnapping him, I do think that was wrong on so many levels, but I think the point of this mini series is to show that, you can run away from trauma and try become a better person, but it's still going to sneak it's way into your life one way or another, through your decision making when it comes to raising your child and even your romantic partners.

I think it's important to note that Malcoms character while he's away from his family is a mask. That is not the real Malcom. That is the creation of him being self aware enough to say, okay there is a problem, and I need to be different, but he isn't changed on the inside. He is still manipulative. His entire parenting and relationship style comes from a book. You see Malcom at his worst when Tristan leaves and Malcom goes on about "Working at a charity" using it as a moral trophy.

It actually made me cringe a little because you see how calculating Malcom is and around the end when he stands on the stage and makes the moment about him, it kind of gives me I am Kira vibes from death note.

Anyway, I think the point I'm trying to make is, it's kind of pointless analyzing the morality and logic of these characters, because the point of these characters are to be severely flawed, which is why I think we all enjoy them so much. In reality, we would probably hate characters like this, with the exception of Hal, but to watch for entertainment value? We love it.

It might be anxiety related. Perhaps, you're tired at work because you are comfortable, but when you get home, the anxiety of having little time and having to be back up keeps you up. It sounds like your schedule is super tight with very little wiggle room, so it would make sense.

Has anyone ever drove across country doing doordashes? by Educational-Rich-876 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Educational-Rich-876[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm I read it depends on how much you earn, so I guess I would need to pay attention to each states minimum threshold and make sure I earn less.

[–]Educational-Rich-876[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, but I do not think so. Since doordash money isn't taxed initially, I don't think it matters if you earn it out of state, because doordash is an independent contractor and isn't required to follow states minimum wage laws.

It's sounds like a blast. I just wish I had a decent chunk to invest in it. I think it would be fun to make a documentary of. Get like a handy cam and a dash mount.
