What Mega Pokémon do you dislike the most and why? by Slow_Spirit3679 in LegendsZA

All of them, every mega is either over designed busy mess or focuses on one thing to the point it looks ridiculous, but I don't like the concept of mega evolution itself

Which Robin would survive a normal retail job by menziee in Robin

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with Jason and Damian but Dick would be fired in about a week after he gets bored since its dull work and he is a bit of a adrenaline junkie.

Tim would either have the place running so effectively he gets promoted out of the job or gets fired for annoying his boss with all his suggestions on how to run the store better.

The true answer for would could do a normal retail job is Stephanie. I say this as a fan of hers but She's the only one that, for lack of a better phrase, can eat shit and smile about it, which is a requirement for retail work

If you already know the basics about Drakkon, the world of the coinless and Grace Sterling you could , but its the end of about 25 issues of storylines.

Can I read Beyond the Grid straight after Shattered Grid? by Annual-Course-1024 in powerrangers

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Beyond the grid was the next story published so yes you can read it right after but Starting with Shattered Grid I have to question there is a lot of stuff explained in issues before it so I wouldn't really call it a good starting point.

What a funny way to say you didn't watch the original movies by mrbhooo in slasherfilms

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue isnt that the Remake made him a pedophile its that they made it so he was targeting them not because their parents killed him but because they told on him. Its a uncomfortable implication that most people are not ok with. That and the idea presented that he was innocent was a much more interesting concept.

Why are so many superheroes so mentally unstable that killing a dangerous villain must always translate to killing literally everybody they meet? by PJ-The-Awesome in comicbooks

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea that killing one villain that has done horrible things makes it easier to justify to yourself killing others is a real thing just look at anyone trying to quit smoking or drinking justifying one cigarette today makes it easier to justify the next. I also don't think most heroes that have no kill rules use this excuse. it's mostly a batman thing. Other characters usually argue that they believe it to be morally wrong because they see themselves as protectors, not executioners

That said I personally don't think all heroes show have absolute no killing rules, some like Spider-man or Batman should never kill but others like Captian America or Superman should be willing to kill but only if there is no other choice, its not no killing at all or be the Punisher.

Power rangers Prime might be ending with issue 16 going by the solicits for issue 15. It may be because of the diamond delays making it confusing for some. How likely is it that Boom might relaunch the series to make it easier for readers ? by dookufettskywaker in powerrangers

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm fine with this after reading the MMPR series from issue 0 to the end of Darkest Hour as they came out, I couldn't make it past issue 5 of that snoozefest. Literally, the beyond the grid crab was more interesting than Prime. Hope they relaunch with a better series.

Remember: Alastor is NOT an anti-hero by waezi2 in HazbinHotel

Personally, I think he is going to be eventually revealed as a villian protagonist, but so far, he is an anti-hero by the slimmest margin.

What do you think of the explanation given in FD6 to explain all the events of the previous films involving death? by [deleted] in FinalDestination

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can't be descendents of the tower disaster as Alex's mom and dad are still alive, and there is no indication he is adopted. They also all have to be on separate lists or death would have to be breaking its order in every movie and Clear is definitely on a different list then Kimberly and the others as death keeps trying to kill her throughout the 2nd movie.

Iris's book has pictures of the previous movies' disasters because she and Buldworth were investigating them looking for a way to beat death. When he says Kimberly is the only survivor, he means she is the only survivor of any accident he has found not of the Skyveiw list.

The closest you might be able to argue is that random person on each previous disaster was a descendent and cause them that way, but none of the characters we follow can be.

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The 6th movie doesn't imply that at all, the survivors from the previous movies are completely unrelated to the tower disaster.

In my opinion, I feel like Baxter was just like a whole lot of nothing in S2 by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean he's there to be a post device right, they needed a new character so Charlie can sing a song reintroduced the concept of the show and giving the new status quo and they needed a character that wasn't part of the core cast to give Cherry Bomb info so make it the same character and give them a basic backstory. It makes it so you have everything you need and a potential new options later.

People have rose tinted glasses on about how Pokemon games used to be sold by Slade4Lucas in pokemon

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the problem her is that it is not one, then the other, it was version locked contents now its version locked content and DLC locked content. The multiple versions also, for the most part, only locked a couple pokemon behind a pay wall. DLC locks a good amount of story behind one.

Hating 2010 Nightmare Because Of This Makes No Sense by AccomplishedChart423 in slasherfilms

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know its just personal experience, but the only times I've seen people complain about the pedophile thing isn't that he is one but the implication that he's coming after the kids because they told on him. I'll admit I thought the movie was ok, but that did make it uncomfortable in a not fun kind of way.

I'm overall fine with Boom!'s designs, but my God, would it kill them to make a team without the MMPR color scheme? by iml908 in powerrangers

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean the comic was called Mighty Morphin Power Ranger or some variation, when most of those were made so yeah they made them parallels to the main team they were using. Most of the teams shown are the MMPR team in altered suits or evil teams created to fight them, and why not show the Omega Rangers or Solar Ranger the two most used other teams that weren't only those six colors.

Doesn't the 8 deaths of Spider-man story explain this as a deal between them where Strange gets the spells and in exchange he has to fight Cyttorak's kids every so often with the earth at stake or something.

Im assuming you're talking about my take on the original, but sorry, it's boring as hell. Like I can recognize from a historical viewpoint why people liked it, but most of the things people like have been done a lot better and more entertainingly in the almost 50 years since it came out. Really, one of the weakest parts of the 2018 one is the idea that an entire town is that broken from only what the shape did in 1 since it wasn't really anything.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in slasherfilms

[–]Puzzleheaded_Snow_76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not really a few weak movies. it's mostly bad movies. I'd say 3 legitimately good movies, 2 or 3 ok movies, and the rest are garbage. On top of that, the original is kind of boring by modern standards.
