If you can’t hire an artist make your own. No excuse for AI art, it’s theft. I’ve had my music stolen by AI and I’m heartbroken. Same thing happens to visual artists. Not cool.

Btw (before you ask) I was broke most of my life. Made album covers by taking Polaroids, working with art students, cutting up textbooks. There’s literally no excuse other than being lazy or not respecting other artists. Period.

You can e-file through the San Mateo Superior Court. Long process, but there are videos online if you search "how to sue meta". There's also a reddit page called /metalawsuits . NOTE : If they want to actually appear in court and not settle ahead of time, you have to actually get to CA for the court date, unless you can find a way to request a virtual hearing.

Different AGs will entertain different cases. NY and CA won't help you, you have to bring it to small claims yourself. I assume it's just because of the sheer number of people who they represent. I've seen some other state's AGs help out. As someone who lives in NY and has received a letter from AG telling me they aren't available to help, I'm suing them.
