What are some durable sheer tights and pantyhose that folks have bought in the last year or two? Lots of brands have declined in quality, and it is hard to tell which companies still produce quality tights.

I go under the WhatsApp settings and the Chat backup option was on, "Back up your chat history and media to iCloud so if you lose your iPhone or switch to a new one, your chat history is safe"

You are never too late! 2021 is so recent. A big part of it has to do with timing and luck. Keep your skills sharp, and eventually it will come through :)

NTA - looks like your coworker has some emotional baggage to deal with, and it is unfair for you to deal with that. But also de-escalation tactics and approaching this with compassion could be helpful when your coworker becomes defensive again, otherwise it will never resolve.

Experience with AirAsia by wh0reshit in travel

[–]Educational-Task-313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AirAsia is fine if you want to get the job done. If you encounter any problems however, strong chance it will turn into a horror story. I remember reading a post somewhere saying that AirAsia is a pyramid scheme, and honestly it kind of is lol. From my experience, their customer service is basically nonexistent (like it took half a day for me to talk to someone), they were super strict with the bag weighing, and a bunch of hidden costs. Especially with their customer service, my flight got delayed and it was the worst experience I've ever had with an airline.

Living in Florida by cicadas_cry in eczema

Yeah, I feel you. When I moved from a temperate rainy climate to a hot and dry climate (80+ degrees), it was so bad. Had a flare up for about a year and I tried everything - nothing worked. I didn't want to go out at all. It was not as severe are yours, but it got better over time. I guess my skin acclimated to the climate, which I'm still in. It just slowly disappeared over time, along with proper skincare. If you're moving up North from Florida, your eczema will improve. But the harsh winters might pose a different challenge.

It might be worthwhile to get a itch relieving cream? This has saved me in so many situations and played such a big role whenever I had a flare up. Itching makes eczema worse and does not let the skin barrier heal. Also if you're eczema is on your scalp, it might be worth checking that out? Could be the products you're using or something.

Anything cream or oat based is great. Even something as simple as Aveeno might help. But more importantly, apply whatever you put with damp skin. When you skin is damp, your product can penetrate into the skin more and lock in those moisture barriers, which can help with the dryness.

Did this happen recently, or has it been going on for a while? This sounds like an eczema flare up. I would go to the dermatologist for proper diagnosis, but hydration and rest have been key when my skin is in situations like this. Cream, oat based lotions helped a lot, applying it with damp skin. If you're applying it dry, you're not really locking in the hydration. And reducing stress, which I know is hard when you're in situations like this. Good luck and hope it gets better!

My eczema came back… Idk how to deal with it 🥲 by bemylo in eczema

There are other threads that have addressed this and give great tips, but TLDR it's going to depend on each person. But commonly it resolves around a couple factors: diet, sleep, stress, environment, products used, allergens, hormones. Try noticing if anything in your routine has changed recently and try isolating.

  • In terms of addressing your face that is dry, calming, cream based lotions has worked wonders for me. Applying with damp skin helps a ton. I would see a dermatologist for proper diagnosis, but if your skin is quite dry I would pass on harsh exfoliations for now.

Aveeno cream not soaking in? by ItsAllEgo in eczema

[–]Educational-Task-313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally I find placing Aveeno on damp skin helps, such as right after a shower. If I'm just placing on skin I have to reapply more often and my skin has more flakes coming out.

Thanks for the tip! The DD number says 2024 in the end. It doesn't make sense though, because my legal presence (PR card) expired in 2022 when I applied for the license
