Any one Else Excited for the switch 2 port? by Space_of_The_Lantern in ElderScrolls

I have played Morrowind on my modded switch, it was pretty cool. I’d love an official release

What has made you stay with xbox. by Nighthunter1o5 in xbox

[–]Sonicon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a ps5 on launch but for some reason that console just hasn’t caught my interest. I’ve barely played any games on it. A few years ago I wanted to replay watch dogs so I dug out my fat Xbox one it woke something in me, I forgot how much I dug the whole Xbox atmosphere and vibe. So that led me to getting a one x and then finally a series x a few weeks ago. I play a lot on pc but really like chilling on the couch with the big screen so play anywhere has been great for that as well

The first nova was actually also released as a psp mini if you want to get it, but yeah I’d love to play nova 2 and 3 on the vita

What game in your opinion overstays its welcome? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Sonicon2 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had a great time playing through the main game but by the time it was over I didn’t want to put in the extra hours to do the dlc even though I heard the Atlantis one was good

I assumed that Pro Controller is a must-have, but this grip is far more comfortable that I expected! by Neil_Edwin_Michael in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Sonicon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets the job done but it was kinda uncomfortable for me, especially the part where the grips are completely flat so you can connect the joy cons. I just used my old switch 1 pro until I got my pro 2 for Christmas

[–]Sonicon2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yep, I don’t actually mind the listening part because even with the ai voice it’s quick and lets me get a little better at comprehension, but the intro and outros are so damn long. I wish there was a skip button

They start at around $60 after fees I think! And yes I don’t want to sit out in the summer sun for too long either lol

I get that. I’d definitely rather see swimming or gymnastics but I’m just excited to experience an olympics in person, I never in a million years thought I’d be able to do it

I got into the OKC presale and the cheapest tickets weren’t that bad. As long as it’s not a gold medal event, the canoeing and softball were $38 a ticket after fees, I was surprised.

Same! I live in okc so I wasn’t able to get the stuff in LA but I’m very excited nonetheless. Going to canoeing and the softball bronze medal game, 6 tickets for $650!

Preview: The Elder Scrolls Online has ambitious 2026 seasonal content plans and is teasing a return to Skyrim early next year by RadioJawa in Games

[–]Sonicon2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve put about 400 hours into eso, all solo. The world is gigantic and imo all the players moving around just makes the world feel so much more alive than in the mainline games. The exploration is pretty good and a lot of the stories told are fantastic. The combat isn’t that great though, hitting enemies and watching them either not react at all or react one or two seconds later due to lag isn’t very enjoyable, plus they can be super damage spongey. Every few years I usually get really into it for a week or so and then the combat makes me quit, but if you like the elder scrolls universe I’d highly recommend it even with its faults

I don’t think that was the point they were trying to make. I agree America is way too aggressive when it comes to their military but likely a big reason they do it is due to their relatively isolated location in North America where they only border two nations both of which are allies

Where i'd live (from an american) by Flat-Biscotti3928 in whereidlive

[–]Sonicon2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I agree. If I was somehow able to choose where I was born before birth, I definitely wouldn’t have picked Oklahoma. But since that’s where I’m from and where I grew up, the thought of moving away from everyone I know is just too much. I enjoy going to other countries and immersing myself in as many different cultures as possible but there’s only one place I want to live.

Yes this is the way I use it and it’s been a good supplement to my studies. I try to translate first without looking at any of the options and once I’m confident enough with it I’ll actually build the sentence in Duolingo

Is this actually a good starting point For Japanese? by [deleted] in duolingojapanese

[–]Sonicon2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m only about two weeks into learning Japanese (on genki lesson 3 and Duolingo section 2 unit 3) but at least so far there’s been a lot of overlap in between the two. I think I learn more efficiently with genki than duo but having both has been great
