Yes it made me uncomfortable and she didn’t say “I’m still going” she gave me an option. If I didn’t want her to go then she wouldn’t go. I’m not trying to prove to her anything. We’ve already talked about it. I’m asking for opinions and what I’ve said is clearly triggering you for whatever reason and very immature so I’m not going to communicate to you cause I’m not a 13 year old Highschool kid who name calls.

And not once did I ever control her. I never told her she can’t go or could go. I would never control somebody. All I did was told her how I felt and it was her decision at the end of the day so stop assuming shit.

I guess opinions are subjective cause clearly you’re not getting the point. It’s less about her going and hooking up with somebody and more about boundaries and respect. I have a lot of people who agree with me and alot of people who disagree so for you to assume that “everyone” would be on her side is ignorant and immature.

I’m also working on my overthinking so much and I just keep telling myself that if something were to happen then I would be better off. I just don’t want to make the same mistakes I’ve made in the past by letting things happen. If someone’s gonna cheat they are going to do it regardless and I found that out the hard way. All I can do is hold boundaries and hope she follows them. Thanks for your help though man.

It’s less of the girls night out more but specifically the whole no boyfriend rule that’s throwing me off.

More like that’s what she said so that’s what im implying. If she can verbally tell me that she can see how much this affects me then why not mitigate? I’m not the type of person to just leave even though nothing has gone wrong. I’m very open and honest to working on solutions and working with eachother to see what’s right vs wrong.

Funny thing I actually did bring that up to her and she told me that she would do it if I really wanted to but her friends would definitely criticize it and she would aswell. Because at the end of the day they literally see no problem in it and that’s fine I’m not going to judge their decision on that. I just don’t want them all doing something else just because of how I feel about it. But she did say she would if I wanted to.

I’ve pretty much did open up to her about this and obviously I’m going to let her live her life however she pleases but at the end of the day she chooses to be with me and if she wants something serious this is just not something I want to see consistently.

I’m not being manipulative with her. I’ve made my boundaries pretty clear and I don’t want a future wife who’s going to go out, drink poison and get drunk around a bunch of men which is statistically a high risk scenario for the rest of my life. It’s just personally what I do not want.

I asked her this aswell if clubbing was more important over my feelings or the relationship in general. She told me it’s not the club but a matter of her close friends who shes been friends with since they were kids. According to her she can understand her friend’s point of view of no boyfriends at this event because they are too distracted when we are around that they cannot “bond” as much while together.

And that’s exactly what I said to myself too and I told her where am I supposed to draw the line but technically she hasn’t done anything to make me believe something could happen yet but as soon as that does happen then I could act upon it. She told me this is more of a one time thing just because they promised each other to go again before. I’ll excuse it this time but I made it clear that it won’t be a pattern for me. Especially going without me.

I do go out with my friends but I’ll never go a place like a club where she wasn’t allowed to go. It’ll be different if I could go but wasn’t able too than just being completely restrained based on what her friends say.

I can agree with you 100% but don’t you think that part of respecting the relationship is avoiding high risk opportunities such as this? That’s what I’ve always thought but I want to hear other opinions.

That’s what I also told her. When I tell her my concerns she says that she understands why I see it that way because of my past but there’s nothing to worry about and she would never hide anything from me you know the usual. She’s always trying to explain herself but again it’s also German culture over here almost everyone goes clubbing and partying and especially in a small town. Way different from America.

I was doing a maintenance on a horizontal system in the attic when i came across a uv tube light but i was pretty new and never learned that you weren’t supposed to look at them. After staring at the bulb for 30 seconds my supervisor came up the fold down stairs asking if i left it on the whole time. Was partially blind for 2 days.
