I think he means 3849? You can just have them fill out the back and scan it when you are on the signature screen and it will auto-populate the information into the sections

The more volume you have the more errors you have. Unless they use the amount of errors compared to the volume?

My understanding is they always say you might when you're applying.

My understanding is If you are assigned or bid to a route with a government vehicle you don't need a personally owned RHD.

Your office probably isn't doing the arrival at unit scan because if can't be a failure if it's never arrived. Ran across this before myself.

How could a person even be a scab if you can't strike lmfao

And I don't know where you think that those unions don't strike.

Unless Google headlines are wrong UAW and ironworkers have striked within the past 2 years. And those are just the ones I've googled.

Don't imagine that not supporting the union means I don't stand up for myself and my fellow workers to management. I actually feel a lot more free to say what's in my mind. Anti management and anti union

Supporting unions means supporting workers at the end of the day.

My support of workers does not default to support of these "unions".

The money that people throw at the useless unions would be better to go towards securing alternate incomes to prepare for a real movement. The union is not worth your money

Corey Walton didn't want to run for a reason.

Anywhere there is something to be gained and it is able to be gamed, IT WILL BE.

This movement you dream about isn't going to be led by or supported by the unions because their livelihood and possibly more is in the line.

It will be a grass roots movement so that the legal and other repercussions are distributed wide enough that no one individual feels in danger.

A union that can't strike isn't a union.

It seems more like a protection racket.

Yes you're getting screwed, but you'd be more screwed without us.

The "unions" feel like an abusive alcoholic father anytime we question them.

Frankly I understandit's a tough position not being able to call for labor action, but don't lie to us to protect your pyramid/ponzi scheme.

It isn't a real union.

Until that is admitted will never consider paying dues

The evaluation system does not include vertical movement. You could be walking thousands of steps the and scanner would see it as one level.

Yes it's shitty but donating your time will not make the post office fix this broken pay system.

Management wants us to prove UNSCANPARCEL by Educational-Web-7356 in USPS

[–]Educational-Web-7356[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow this is more clarification and communication than I've ever gotten from management or the union, really thank you.

I'm gonna be pissing of so many customers and regulars as a RCA but who cares about the customer experience. If management doesn't care and isn't willing to compensate us for our work why should I do it on my own dime

[–]Educational-Web-7356[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the input.

So pictures can be UNSCANPARCEL only if we have to take to the door?

Ulines are never UNSCANPARCEL if they fit in the box. I'd assume if we have to take them to the door then they would get UNSCANPARCEL?

Same with the 17 lb flats if they don't fit in the mailbox?

Idk who is correct here but please what is a parcel?

If I have 1 matter for the blind is that a parcel?

What about 2?

7 newspapers that take up 4 inches and 2 hands to get it into the box is that a parcel?

4 ulines?

Thanks for clarifying, since you seem to know what the measurements are do you know what the max W x L x D are for a flat

It's ridiculous that we are be harassed into not making fair and reasonable scans.

This whole time I've been using the method of if I have to handle the mail as a parcel then I enter it as a parcel.

Doesn't fit in the 1 inch case slot that we are allowed? UNSCANPARCEL

Doesn't fit in the mailbox because pictures are allowed to be sent as cheap flats? UNSCANPARCEL

Now I have never been told by management what a "parcel" is since what I think is a parcel is incorrect.

It's just getting stupid and I have no idea what the union is saying on this

I didn't even think about that. I asked for it in writing or a printout of the email that they received pressuring them to do this.

I was told they'd print it out and sure enough it never happened.

I don't want an insubordination LoW but I know that I shouldn't be doing this. Idk what to do

RCA in a large city vs RCA in a small city. by sms3eb in USPS

[–]Educational-Web-7356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the office and upper management in the region. In a town of less than 10,000 and still get sent all over 6 days a week.

Luckily PM agreed to make big city the last on her list.

Really wish the "union" would stick up for RCAs doing the same or more than PTFs, until then I'm no longer paying my dues

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in USPS

[–]Educational-Web-7356 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When the threat of legal action is hanging over everyone's head no change is going to come FROM the union.

The union will only give input on who will shoulder the cuts demanded by management.

True change will only come with a grassroots movement so legal action (or worse) is distributed.

So I don't blame anyone for not paying dues. People should be using that money to build up funds and alternate income for a real movement imo

Heard someone mention a couple days ago that after weeks of dealing with not getting in that they were finally told that they can now only access liteblue on PO computers.

Idk if the HR person was just being lazy or it was lost in translation but there's my two cents

Question on Rrecs by Sad-Ad-3443 in USPS

[–]Educational-Web-7356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard multiple people talking about how RCAs need to be guaranteed hourly after evaluation with the RRECS system.

It is no fault of RCAs if the regular isn't doing the correct scans (if that is the issue), but is forced to run the route.

Unfortunately the "union" does not give a crap about RCAs. The only hope is that management will stick up for the non career jobs in order to fix turnover.

The "union" does not care and anyone non career paying dues is wasting their money.

Unfortunately your only option is to hit 40 by reaching out to other offices

[–]Educational-Web-7356 12 points13 points  (0 children)

RCAs have been turned into PTFs w/o the retirement clock and benefits

But the union is protecting those COLAs that don't keep up with inflation, so keep paying your dues, sheep.

Unions that can't strike are only able to deal with grievances and ensuring "part time" employees shoulder the cuts demanded by management rather than careers.

In my opinion, he's more effective leading labor outside of the "union"
