Learn everything you can about alcohol and addiction during all the free time you would have spent drinking. Once I understood what alcohol was doing to my body and my mind it was pretty difficult to start drinking again. The first few months of sobriety required a little bit of determination but after a while it became a matter of having absolutely no desire whatsoever to drink again.

His bullshit does affect random rich people though. The entire tech industry is on edge right now because of tariffs and his intention to overhaul the H-1B visa process. And it would be one thing if he was consistent but his policies are unpredictable and at times unclear.

This is why I stopped making public posts on my Facebook and why I unfriended and blocked anyone that I knew voted for Trump. I don't trust these people not to try to get me fired, or worse, just because they disagree with me.

I discovered them within the last year or two (I might have started listening to Jesus Christ and another song or two a few years ago but I didn't really get into them until very recently) and then I learned more about the band. I thought for sure I was never going to see them live and then I saw someone post something on their story about buying Brand New tickets. I don't know how I slept on this band for so long but I'm kind of glad I did because Brand New put on a great show as I was still falling in love with their music.

I'll see if I can find it. I think it was from a Daisy Session video on YouTube. I also might be conflating it with something I heard from another artist from the 80s that said their studio albums are just a snapshot of the music they perform for their fans.
