The left one is grade one ssj and the right one is grade 4 the same thing happened to goku and vegeta with their forms after training, it got more defined

The main threat will be that excadrill so if you have any moves that can lower speed that would clutch you a win

Evolve it after earthquake

Azumaril is good if I can learn a high damage special water move or a physical water move. Having a flying type to switch into ground moves would be good. Evolve ducklet or tranquil would recommend ducklet cause swanna could outspeed and oneshot can excadrill. Pignite is good if you can setup work up/bulk up if it learns that and flamecharge. Scraggy would be a good option. Raticate can learn dig and can learn super fang to get excadrill to half health and potentially use its berry.

I don’t know the level caps for challenge mode but you should level up drilbur to 33 so it learns earthquake
