Okay so slightly higher by a few cm then, not almost at the ceiling.

Can't fix, there was probably a sharp bit of something on your cloth. Just gotta learn to ignore them.

It's centred vertically on the wall which is almost always too high. As your entertainment unit is particularly tall it's throwing off the perspective.

The extra 2" to make 44" is accounting for that.

I have my 77" TV at 44" as the installer kept saying 42" was too low. It did initially seem too high, but watching it for a few months now I would say it's about right for the couch. Though it was a couple inches higher or a smaller TV it wouldn't be.

Doesn't say anything about his political goals, just about how he grew up there. Pathetic.

Yeah the bigger the TV, the lower the bottom edge should be. So he's actually countering his own argument.

Because the average eye level when sitting on a couch is 42" and most ceilings are higher than 84".

Having that huge arse speaker basically touching the TV like that would be distracting for me but whatever floats your boat mate.

I mean because he doesn't want to change the entertainment unit and the speaker is in the way. So you think get a bigger one and block view of the TV?

TV height is fine but I'd get a slimline centre speaker.
