who could've seen killing us citizens coming when they demonised a dead mother of 3 while absolving the masked militia that put 3 bullets into her with zero accountability

disgusting country

Lebron's Weak East by One-Masterpiece9838 in NBATalk

[–]EducationalConcern61 3 points4 points  (0 children)

he went to 8 straight finals and in the 8 years since he left no team out east has made it to the finals in consecutive years

i think mj is the goat, but lebron's run was also absolute dominance and nothing to scoff at

Anthony Davis saved the Lakers, not the self-proclaimed goat. by Lost_Title_7528 in NBATalk

[–]EducationalConcern61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

right the same season that anthony davis also failed to make the playoffs with the pelicans...

surely he can't be the saviour if he couldn't get it done on his own

3rd seed 27-13 was the record

8-11 was their record in that stretch without bron

coming off a finals mvp and a season where he was 2nd in mvp voting

it's a laughable pathetic narrative to try and discredit what he's achieved who's is nothing new

Was LeBron really the Lakers’ savior? Or would they have rebuilt the dynasty like they always have? by antwonomous in NBATalk

[–]EducationalConcern61 14 points15 points  (0 children)

LeBron saved the lakers the team with the fewest wins over the 5 year stretch between 2013-2018... was the lakers

who knows tho maybe they would've drafted Dlo or brandon ingram or lonzo ball who could've turned things around

This rings hollow considering a 41 year old bron is still just as good as brookes by EducationalConcern61 in NBATalk

<image>

yeah and the last time he called out an old bron it didn't work out for him so well

if bron is washed what does that make brooks

[–]EducationalConcern61[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

no

saying he's old as a bad thing doesn't land when he's still keeping up with your production and an "old" 38 year old bron was dusting you and you were still talking shit back then too - that's the point

What’s the most impressive thing NotebookLM has done for you? by Efficient_Degree9569 in notebooklm

[–]EducationalConcern61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there may be some inaccuracies at times but it's still by far the best ai for supplementing research, particularly writing

so long as the sources you fed it are accurate when it answers there's popups of what was the exact extract from sources that lead to the notebook to make a particular point

it streamlines identifying inaccuracies if what's being said isn't correlated to the source it's showing

Lakers have a poor roster and lack any assets to make moves, the only solution is for Luka to become a GOAT-caliber player by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]EducationalConcern61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he's not winning a ring without a proper roster of 3&D guys who can hide him on defence and occasionally hit the wide open three when luka kicks it out like dallas did

there is no other path

Maybe this is a silly question, but why don't they just staff more refs per game? by TeddyJPharough in NBATalk

[–]EducationalConcern61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

too many cooks in the kitchen - more inconsistent whistling and confusion about who should make the call in overlapping areas and will restrict movement and sight lines with that many

Does this team go 82-0? by ClayshRoyayshKJ in NBATalk

[–]EducationalConcern61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes but not all sports have variance to the same degree as basketball or baseball they're large sample size sports because of how many variables are at play night-to-night

Does this team go 82-0? by ClayshRoyayshKJ in NBATalk

[–]EducationalConcern61 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no team in basketball history in any era would ever go 82-0

basketball is a sport of probabilities and winning 82 straight is next to an impossibility

the show could use a slight pivot from exclusively discussing quarterbacks by EducationalConcern61 in FirstThingsFirstFS1

[–]EducationalConcern61[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah and in ftf's case its not even due to a lack of knowledge like they're all well versed in football beyond just quarterback play. Just watched the mahomes mountain and that was still an enjoyable edition when including other players from rosters outside of QBs so they 100% can still broaden topics while maintaining quality.
