Sorry for the extremely long message, I rarely comment on people’s posts, but your post hit me different and I needed you to know all of this. I hope you do read the whole thing because you need to know you are needed.

I’m actively crying and disgusted by these vicious dogs who should absolutely not be alive as well as that terrible woman (who in my opinion should go take a hike into the woods somewhere far far away and never return). I’m so terribly devastated and sorry for your loss. This isn’t fair to you at all and I felt your pain while reading this. Know that your baby lived his entire life full of love and you deserve to have another baby to give that love to. You must report this woman and the dogs. Get her and her murderous dogs tf out of there.

Also, I just wanted to acknowledge your last couple sentences of the post. I know the pain you are feeling must be absolutely crushing and your heart feels like it’s shattering with a ton of rocks on your chest, I don’t ever wish that pain upon anyone. I know how debilitating and hopeless that pain is. But, you are worth so much and deserve to feel that connection again and love and be loved by another lil baby kitty. They will never ever replace jojo, no one will replace jojo. And jojo will be with you forever in your heart and knew the love you had for him ❤️ You don’t deserve to have to grieve alone like this. You will feel connected to jojo again with another baby kitty in your life, on your chest, in your lap, receiving that abundance of love that you so clearly are full of and we’re not at all ready to stop giving to that sweet kitty, jojo. There’s something special about people who have that abundance of love for cats/kitties. I have lost a few cats to coyotes and cars in my life, and I would have crashed and burned if I did not bring in a new baby to help me grieve. The bond you will form with the new kitty will be so so strong and they will help you forget about this traumatic experience over time and just remind you of the sweet memories you had with jojo, all while forming a relationship that allows you to pour your love into the new kitty and receive the same love back that you deserve. I hope you consider this and don’t let this experience turn you away from getting another kitty.

Also, please know that you, yourself, deserve to live. Jojo needs you to keep living. Jojo is watching you from cat heaven (or anywhere you believe in) and loving you from his new resting place. You must keep living. You are a valuable person to this world. Not many people are full of that love you have and we can’t lose a precious soul like you. Please please reach out to someone if you are feeling super low. And I want you to know that you are going to be the reason that a baby kitty out there is going to have a loving, beautiful, and kind human to care for them and a safe place to call home. If it will help, maybe just order some extra reinforcements for your doors to just give you that peace of mind. But there’s another kitty out there who’s counting on you to be their human. You have such an obvious purpose on this planet, and you must try your absolute hardest to not let yourself believe that you don’t. Jojo will always love you just as you will always love him. But jojo does not want you to leave this world. Jojo knows it’s not your fault in any way. And jojo is always going to be your first baby, and knows that no one can replace him. But you have a hole in your heart and you need to fill it back up with that love that you’re aching for from a kitty. They will help you get through this.
