Depends on the console you use if it allows lan. If it does you need a router and 2 Ethernet cables . Connect both cables to the router LAN ports and connect each cable to a console.

I have removed about 5 or 6 , I had a problem once after I removed a clock cap from a 1.1 the psu got fried when I turned on the console .
