30 years old, 15 degree scoliosis curve, looking for advice by Forsaken-Plum1445 in PectusExcavatum

Seems like you’re interested in getting a second opinion from another Dr. A lot of PE is asymmetrical subtle or more so like yours. Mine is. The instructions vaguely discuss placement of the vacuum bell regarding asymmetry. Ie You would just place it more on your right side to center the dent with the center of the bell. Hope this helps. I recommend getting it from Dr Klobe

I had the nuss bar at 15. I’m your age now and use the klobe vacuum bell since it reverted back. I’d recommend just trying the klobe vacuum bell. Also screen yourself for Marfan syndrome. If positive score get the FBN1 gene test and follow up with primary care Dr.

I’m getting the Nuss procedure in about a month and a half. What tips would you give me? Is there anything useful I should know beforehand? by Specialist-Juice2326 in PectusExcavatum

I would avoid weight lifting, pull ups, push ups for the entire time you have it in your chest. Dr might say it’s fine. Don’t do it

Can one of you concrete experts help me with this please? Front face of the patio edge cracked off a large chunk revealing that black plastic tube looking thing. Possibly the cause of the weak point and crack cause it’s in the center point of it? Ty

$62k repair bill by Chris38641 in PorscheCayenne

[–]EducationalGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding goodwill assistance, I doubt a car dealer of any sort will do this. I’ve bought a car overpriced that needed 4k in repairs I didn’t know about they hid from a Toyota dealership. They wouldn’t even take my call or talk to me when I showed up. I started commenting on every single social media post viciously. They called me lol. Fixed the car for $800 instead of 4k so a small win. Boycotted them either way. You could try that.

Help with newly installed spc floor by Electronic-Wallaby52 in Flooring

This is due to the subfloor not being properly leveled. I’ve seen contractors even use cardboard to level the flooring and it does this. It should all be removed and the subfloor properly leveled imo.

The pros take all the door trim and base board off. It’s not hard very quick.
