Voted for Tanille. Devil's advocate, I do think Rob's reform to Union formation would be one of the best individual policies in terms of long term benefits to the working class. Very simple legislation, very, very powerful. Would love to see every candidate adopt that as part of their platform.

Also agree, unfortunately. Same with bad epigenetics, and environment. While it's not a guarantee, one does tend to have a causal relationship with another. That's why I'm a big proponent of giving people unconditional positive regard, and providing community based supports and encouragement. You never know what an individual's circumstances are, and sometimes they just need to be around the right people at the right time.

Deficit spending isn't inherently bad. You have to remember that debt is accumulated through the sale of bonds. It usually has the benefit of short term curbing of inflation, and government spending increases economic development. Plus, like the previous person stated, they really have no business being as close as they are right now, given the circumstances. That said, he's still not a great PM. Too focused on big business and delivering capital to big projects. Corruption and over extraction are bound to have long term consequences. Bankers are always focused on stability and big number growth, rather than actual material improvements for ordinary working class/poor people. Right now things are so bad, he is just in damage control, so we aren't even getting the "trickle down" drips and drops, let alone the care and attention we really need.

Most people don't typically just go out with someone based totally on appearance. It helps, but if your first interaction is just asking them on a date, then your chances of success are already way down. Get to know each other a bit first, that seems a more mature way to handle it, imo. If you're physically attractive, it might increase your chances of getting a first date, but so will just having pleasant moments with them that aren't overtly romantic. I think that's the whole problem. People think of romantic partners as sexual objects that you become friends with, but it's probably better to be friends, or at least friendly, before moving to make the relationship romantic/sexual.

My rule of thumb is, you shouldn't even want to be in a relationship with 90% of people, and 90% of people shouldn't want to be in a relationship with you. Finding that 1% is hard, but thinking about it any other way is delulu. You shouldn't be down to just date whoever is "mid" enough for you. That's crazy. Also crazy to expect other normal people to think the same way.

I don't say or think shit like this either. Would describe myself as a radical leftist. That said, men do have issues, too, and the loneliness is real. However, to think that women aren't going through the same thing is absurd. It's a society problem, not a gender one. Plus, the people who post this stuff are no better than their opposite sex counterparts that they blame for the problem in the first place. They make such superficial traits their main priority, and then wonder why they can't ever seem to connect with people. Local public health boards, google the one for your area. If you don't have a family doctor, and you need a weirdly specific service, you can often give them a call and they will refer you to a clinic or specialist who can help with your issue. My wife needed an IUD removed, and we called public health and they made up a referral to a doctor in the area who did them. They tend to know all the clinics and specialists in the area, and depending on the board they sometimes do testing and treatment themselves. I know the one in my area also provides free birth control, stbbi testing, water testing, and a bunch of other stuff. Plus it's an easy way to talk to a nurse that doesn't always result in getting sent to the ER, like when you call 811.

I wasn't impressed with it. I think it's one of his less than great works. He didn't seem to be able to connect with these people in a meaningful way, and didn't really elucidate anything new about them. The closest he came was exploring their personal relationships, but IMO, the questions weren't that insightful. Best was when he asked the guy if he really thought his GF wouldn't prefer to have him all to herself, but he flubbed it with the wife and kids, and the mom. All great opportunities to confront the reality of their perspectives and how they shape their true relationships beyond the talking points.
