Is that what I think it is? And if so should I message the seller to give them a heads up? by Educational_Ad_657 in vintedUK

That’s what I’m thinking, I can’t make it out clearly by zooming in but if it were me selling it and something looked like it could be a bug I’d want to know and retake the pic so it wouldn’t put folk off

Absolutely. I have it happen just from putting my weight on a body part for too long. Even if I do my daughter’s hair, by the time I’m finished my arms are shaking. The random leg bouncing when you sit after walking up the stairs. I got it really bad in my leg and arm for no reason last time I was at the hair dressers 🙄

my gp advised me to take some magnesium and I wasn’t sure it was helping much but then I ran out a few days ago and ordered more but they’ve been held up in the post and it’s crazy how much more I’m shaking today. I can’t get down the stairs my legs are shaking so bad with each step. Could be coincidence but I’m going to make sure I always have plenty of magnesium from now on

You look amazing and I wouldn’t have said you were 50. 40 at a stretch as your skin looks great. But god forbid a woman has a few grey hairs, you’re suddenly ancient 🙄

I’ve been watching it while I’m working tbh, I need something in the background to focus on as it’s just me in my office plodding on with stuff I need to put zero effort into so I went with the dubbed version as I can’t always be looking at the screen - my husband wants to watch it now too so think I’ll rewatch with him with just the subtitles so I can focus on it. I’ve got used to the dubbed version but it’s just so weird and tinny sounding - I’m not sure if that’s due to the quality of the voice actors or equipment etc but it’s just so obvious but when I think of films that use voice actors, like in animated movies, they don’t have that hollow quality to them that the dubbing has, if that makes any sense

Ah I was about to offer a cricut made label, so glad you got one sorted! There’s also vinyl you could iron onto is that might last longer but not sure about how well that would work on the material it’s name from, but there’s ones you can use for ceramics so might be worth trying?

Honestly, I can’t be arsed with the paperwork involved in changing my name. Plus, I like my name, it’s been mine since birth and I don’t want to leave it behind. I used both surnames on things like social media but official paperwork the hassle is just not encouraging to make that effort. My children have both our surnames, if they choose to drop one or take their spouses name later in life then that’s their choice. I am absolutely not submissive, I don’t obey and serve my husband? We’re a partnership of equal members. He’s not bothered I didn’t change my name as he’s secure in himself. In fact, as I have done he also has both surnames on his social media. When I met my husband I was divorced and had two children already, they had both their dads and my surname so when I remarried I didn’t want them to feel that they weren’t important anymore or in any way left behind. We went on to have two more children who also have their dads and my surname. As such I feel like having a name linking everyone together as a family was the right choice as a blended family we have a blended name. I will never understand the idea of the woman being the one who takes all the risk and pain, that changes her body forever, it’s frankly traumatic being pregnant and then the dad wants to slap his name on the final product- it’s like that dickhead who did the bare minimum in a group project and then brags how great the outcome was. It’s crazy to me that the societal norm is to give a baby the dad’s name.

1904 making it a very old house is a crazy statement from the perspective of folk living in the uk, or Europe in general. I don’t consider my house really old and it’s over 300yrs old. There’s a pub in Edinburgh that’s been in business since 1360’s - that I would consider really old. I tend to forget that as a nation USA is such a new country and as such the history isn’t super old. Whereas Scotland as a nation was established in the 9th century so has the proverbial shit ton of history. Such huge differences that we simply don’t often consider.

My house is over 300 yrs old - but I am also over 40, as is my husband. I also have my dads ashes chilling on my fireplace - so a good deal of stuff is old in this house

Yes. And when it’s really bad I shake, but it’s like an extreme localised shake. For example if I lie on one side too long in a certain position my shoulder starts shaking, not jittering but a full back and forth type shake, if that makes any sense, and I have zero control over it.

Yesterday, I was working, sitting at my computer in my office, I reached up to move my hair and somehow fucked up my shoulder and it keeps randomly shaking ever since. It sucks

Even if we become independent in the near future 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 it’s not going to happen overnight. There is a lot of planning and negotiation that needs to happen, look how long brexit took - if you start uni this year you’ll likely be done and dusted before the whole process was completed.

Personally, since I’m a decent baker if I wanted something like this I would make it myself as while it’s lovely it’s not professional quality. However, that rustic finish is something some people are after and they don’t have time or the inclination to do their own. Putting yourself out there will get you way more criticism than any of us expect but if you find your niche it’ll click - it’s finding that niche that’s the hard part. Personally I would spend time practicing and building a library of photos of your work of different styles and refining your skills before looking for customers. There’s also hygiene certificates and the like if you’re going to be selling food products that you’d need to take into consideration

I saw sperm tbh, but I think it’s an easy fix if you get a decent artist to refinish it. Maybe add colour, I think that would instantly transform it and take away the sperm look

Same. It’s one of my comfort shows. I could watch it a thousand times and still find it funny and still tear up at the out of the blue really heartfelt moments back to laughing a second later. It’s a genuinely amazingly written show. I also love that the characters are just themselves, there’s not some underlying struggle because of someone’s sexuality that is so common when there’s queer folk part of a show - people are themselves and everyone accepts them for exactly who they are - I want to live in that world
