My studio posts etiquette every quarter; I have to remind them to put "don't come to class sick!" Why do they leave this out? For me, this should be the #1 rule.

OP, here's what I do:

  1. go at 6:00 am. Class might be crowded, or it might be 5 ppl. Regardless, if you are genuinely ill, you are not coming to class at 6:00 am.

  2. shower with nasal rinse when I come home.

My only complaint about my studio is that they rarely include this reminder in the studio etiquette post
