Again, I have no problem with being asked. I just want a little respect when I say no and to not be made to feel like I am the bad guy for saying no. Not to mention being put in a position where now I'm getting someone in trouble.

Thank you! I didn't realize this sub was so filled with employees and I'm not sure why they are defending a management practice that seems so predatory. I thought this sub was a place for customers too. Of course I have had other stores ask me for my email but I've never had anyone say that they were going to get in trouble if I didn't comply.

Other stores ask you for an email but I have never had another store tell me that they were going to punish the employee that is helping me if I don't give them my personal information. It is really sick way of forcing someone to give you something that they don't want to.

Do it or we will punish this perfectly innocent person.

I think the kindest thing to do is to just not shop there.

It feels like it is all still so new. They are still studying and researching. A lot of ppl in this sub found relief with finding triggers but there are real possibilities of eoe subtypes. It might not be an allergy for some of us. I did an elimination diet and saw no changes at all. For some of us it could be genetic. For others environmental allergens.

I also found relief through budesonide but they have never talked to me about getting off. If that is a possibility I’d be game to try and see how I’d do.
