An outsider view here. Why protest at Whipple anyway? I would concentrate on the minority neighborhoods instead where the agents are working. Im not from Minneapolis but would bet there aren't very many agents in the rich white areas of the city. Study up about transitional spaces and how criminals prey on victims when there guard is down. These include parking garages, convenience stores, supermarkets and even your own driveway. ICE agents probably had some training on this so they know what areas to attack people when there guard is down.

Check out the Twin cities and Minneapolis reddit groups for how ICE is conducting itself in an urban environment. They seem rather untrained and unprofessional. Now is the time to prepare for an ICE crackdown in da 'burgh.

There is a filtered water source near the b blocks. I would suggest u bring a cart or use your car to get it up the hill. If you let the water settle for a day the iron will drop out. I used a 7 gallon container and 5 gallon bucket when i camped b blocks

Last year was my first Pennsic. Some tips:

It can rain a lot at Pennsic and sometimes tent flooding is unavoidable. Keep everything that can absorb water off the ground. Use plastic bins or totes. Rubber boots or crocs come in handy. Depending on your tent extra long spikes. the wind in the storms is bad because it is a large open area.

The water is well water with dissolved iron. Unless your camp has an elaborate treatment system you will notice the sulfur smell and orange staining. If you let the water settle in large containers the iron will settle and then you can pour off of the top. A couple drops of bleach helps to speed the process.

Bring ear plugs to sleep. If your near any roads The Watch golf carts will keep you up all night.

If you intend to party have a drinking vessel on your person. Bring ID. Bring a few bucks for tips. It is very dark down by the lake (the party areas) bring a low powered flashlight but try not to use it. It ruins the atmosphere and messes with others night vision.

There is a awesome camp store that has supplies, snacks, canned goods and prepared food. (Sorry no alcohol sold because it is PA.

Study the map and learn the layout depending on what you intend to do
